The only staff member was uninformed, inept and slow. I showed up prior to my 11AM pick up time, but so slow that I was delayed by 30 minutes before I could drive away. I reserved an appliance dolly, but it was a surprise to the useless staff there. The van was old and had no ramp. It was too small to load a fridge upright. Upon return, the kid doing the transaction couldn't get the truck number right and said I had put on 35000 miles. He had to go inside and recalculate. Then he came back and asked me if $110 was ok. My calculation was $95 so he had to go back inside again and came back with $96. When I picked up the van, it was 1/2 tank and I was told to return it half full or pay $3/L for gas. I put $20 and returned it at 3/4 full. Why should I have to guess how much gas it takes? Never again. I will carry this grudge forever and share my experience widely. You will have to do much, much better. $19.95/day is not even close!!!Cindy C.

The woman who assisted us in obtaining our vehicle was phenomenal. To be honest, we only chose U-Haul as all other trucks were booked in the city. There have been 2 other occasions in the past couple of years where we had a truck booked and walked out of the location without a vehicle due to awful service so this was a very welcome surprise.Josh H.
Horrible customer service, at the counter was great but the staff outside at return were rude, impolite and after i asked him a question he said give me 2 mins i said no problem thinking he was going to ask inside. He proceeded to walk away from me and ask a man that got there 15 mins after me hi i can help you. Then when i was shocked i went inside the lady told me i had to go back out and when i came back he shouted at me *WHYD YOU GO INSIDE* i ignored his comment and he asked again shouting. Advise the person renting about the return information...we waited in line 20 minutes to be told to go outside and find someone to finish the transaction. We had been outside at the truck for 10 minutes prior to waiting- no one approached us....35 minutes to return a truck.....on top of a long day moving.Mario F.

When my son rented a truck for his move, when he arrived that morning, the truck was unavailable and he had to wait for one. It was suppose to have a dolly,and it was missing, so he had to go back again to get one. I rented a dozen blankets and was not informed that it was a daily rate and was charged for 3 days when I would have brought them back a day sooner had I been informed! There is a lot of stress that goes on with a move and you can't think of everything so they should inform people so there are no surprises. I was quite upset as this is a money grab that wasn't necessary. When I asked the manager she said she couldn't do anything about it because it's all electronically done!rachel P.

I did my pre online pick up as it said it would save time. I waited 30 minutes in line. There was only one persone for customer service. They were four people in line. She was also answering the phone. Took care of an employee that was checking in for work from an agency. Called the agency' for verification, signed off on paper work, talked on the phone with other U-Haul stores. There was another employee that was checking stock in the shelves by the registers and didn't even look at the line up. So much for customer comes first, more like we don't really care.Jean L.
