I made sure to take the contactless pick up with my phone. on morning of pick up, the app didn't work at the step with the credit card. The guy on the lot told me my truck was not ready on time anyways AND that the credit card system was down. I had to go wait inside (took almost 1 hour to be served). In all o this, now one offered the 50$ dollars I was suppose to get if my rental was not ready upon arrival.Mathieu L.
Bad experience to uhaul I booked for 24hrs 3week before may moving day.When I came back they allow only 10 hrs. Its a hassle and I need to transfer to different places just to return the truck and I need to rent cargo van before is to small I need to rent another truck in barrhaven just to finish my transfer.I cannot reccomend your area.FLORENCIO G.

Only thing I would say is to make sure the staff at the counter is wearing a mask. The person who handed me the key was unmaskedbrandon K.
On the day I was to pick up my rental trailer (Good Friday) the entire uHaul computer system was not functional. This appears to have been caused by a change in name of the company, or something similar. It took more than an hour to check in an depart with my trailer (a $15 rental). Due to the delay, I was late for work after returning the trailer less than 3 hours later. I would suggest that major changes to the computer network and software are NOT attempted the night before a long weekend.Nicholas A.
My reservation was not available to me. I had to use a cargo van to do multiple trips costing me more gas money then the one trip in the truck I reserved I was given the $50 guarantee but I still felt like I paid to much. The people I dealt with were very polite, but I wish my reservation would have been there. Moving is already stressful and expensive, this made my day much more difficult. Not impressed.AMANDA B.

Trailer had sustained an approximate 8â€ x 8â€ puncture on the front section of the trailer. The area was covered which adhesive but I had to add duct tape as it was raining. Not sure if this defective unit was purposely offered for my one way rental. Costumer service offered from attendant was gd however.Richard Y.
I am handicap and had made my reservation all online to make sure that I would not have to go in especially with the vivid! But to my surprise I had to spend 40 minutes waiting standing up because only one person to serve???? Then to top it all I had to start all over again having to touch everything!RONALD C.

The equipment was nearly new and in good condition; very happy. The new process for checking in was most unwelcome. Despite completing the check-in online before arriving, I was told there is a new process where I had to check-in again in-person. What's the point of on-line check-in, if I just have to do it in person again anyway? I was also told I had to complete a new process where the u-haul agent in the store must telephone a relative of mine to confirm my identity who is not travelling with me. Despite my photo ID, drivers licence, credit card, etc all being on-hand. Happily for me in this instance my wife was available by phone and able to confirm who I was. What if she hadn't answered? What if it was very early in the morning? This new process clearly hasn't been thought through and was definitely not appreciated. I've never heard of such a procedure before.Harrison R.
In a way, I felt like the truck used alot of gas unfairly. because at stop light or stop sign.. the RPM kept going to 4-5 which used a lot of gas. Honestly, I really felt like I got cheated it on, cause I had to put $29 gas in it for just over 55 Km.. Anyways, Hope this gets better for next customer. Thank you, Merci MichelCLIFFORD M.
