Hello, I was happy to find a location about 1 mike from my home. The reservation and pick up was very easy and convenient, however, that was the extent of the ‘good’ portion of my experience. The driver and passenger seats were very dirty and messy. There were old food containers and take out food left on the floor, which I had to clean out. I drove 130 miles to my destination, to find that the inside of the truck had a mound of dirt in it. I had to shovel then sweep the dirt out before I could actually use the truck to move my belongings. I feel like the dirt still got on my things. When I went to fill the gas tank, gasoline got all over my clothes, the truck and floor. There was obviously a broken part on this part of the truck, as the same thing occurred at multiple gas stations. This was highly dangerous in my opinion, and particularly negligent on the part of the company. Furthermore, when I returned the truck, I told the clerk about all of the issues. She barely had a response, telling my she was having a bad morning (is that even a real excuse?). I asked her why the truck was so dirty and not examined, and she said the staff frequently does not have time to clean/check the trucks between renters. Again, this is highly negligent and dangerous. I then inquired about filing a complain, and was told U-Haul was responsible, as the rental location was just a third party, and there was nothing they could do. Overall, this was quite an unpleasant experience. The customer service was very poor. I am still very angry that I payed $400 for a 2 day rental, when a company admits to flagrantly disregarding the posted standards of cleanliness and safety.

Dropping off the truck was very easy and very pleasant. The young lady (sorry. I didn't get her name either) was very polite and quick with the paperwork. Overall. Picking up the truck and dropping it off was very satisfying. No Muss. No Fuss!!!

Truck was very dirty. Box in the back had a lot of dirt and debris and there was a sign saying to return it clean to avoid a $25 charge. Clerk swept it out after we rented it. Also the windshield was very dirty.

Excellent website - easy to use. Only comment is the website gave a pick up location 6 miles away - however when I talked to an agent I learned there was a pickup on Fairrfax Ave, Los Angeles, only blocks away.

Right front tire was under inflated. Need to check vehicle before each pick up.

It was really frustrating because I had reserved the truck 3 days prior to pick up date and they called me at the very last minute to tell me the truck was not available, which I did not understand why it was reserved ahead of time. They sent us to another location where we had to "backtrack" to find, so I was unhappy with that part of my experience.

Customer service was sub-par. No one mentioned I needed a credit card, so I had to go back home (I carry debit). The people by front desk never smiled once. They both never discussed other options as far as drop off. I wanted to drop it off other location. The front desk people were short, concise, and were overall unpleasant. I did what I had to and brought the truck back. But my experience wasn't one I would recommend to any one in Palm Springs.

Great experience. My piano couldn't fit into my location so I had to rent a storage unit and it was 15 minutes to closing. Luna was very helpful and nice in a stressful situation.

First the guy was completely lazy. Forgot to give me the keys to the truck as well as the blankets i rented. I had to remind him twice. He never did the initial walkaround of the vehicle. The ONLY reason he left the seat was to get the blankets. The truck i picked up was conpletely dirty. Grime everywhere. Was disgussting just putting my arm down on the arm rest. After looking inside the center conpartment i found a marijuana pipe with some still inside. After looking in the glove box i found a sunglasses case with a methamphetamine pipe with stuff still inside. This might be the last time i go with uhaul unless something happens with that place.

Online check in did not work. I had to wait for the store to open in order to complete my rental paperwork. This needs to be fixed.

I was impressed with the dedication of the person that assisted me (Michiela, I think). She was suppose to be on her lunch break but took that time to fill out paper work for the truck and rental space so I wouldn't have to wait in the hot 116 degree weather. EEC

I was charged twice for a truck rental and that's not a small amount to be double charging someone, even temporarily.

Went for an after hours pickup and the keys were not in the truck. Waste of time. Then was charged for the truck that I never used.

We got there and he was not there, he was in a storage unit, so we sat out in the truck for approx a half hour before he went into the office. When we got there, he said to just drop the keys on the counter, he was going to take another customer, who by the way got there after we did, to see a unit. Then walked away from us. Never a TY, never got ANY help from him. The Uhaul called to see if we dropped the trailer off...yes the day before. Evidently the man who took the truck at drop off, didnt do his paperwork, or Uhaul is jut too dumb to know the truck had been there for over 30 hours at that point. Never will I ever rent from Uhaul again.....go ahead and read all the notes from all the phone calls I made to Uhaul trying to get things straightened out. Like I said nothing will ever come out of my outh good about Uhaul, it was the worse experience I have ever had in the last 20 years when I have rented a Uhaul, yes this is not my first time renting from you guys..over the years, probaly about 5 times, doesnt make you rich, but you lost all my business and all my friends and families business when I tell them to use Budget not Uhaul....you guys need some customer service training...they have the being rude and not telling the truth down very well
