William GOne area for improvement would be the bedside manner of the gentleman assisting me. While he did set clear expectations regarding the rental and return requirements, his communication style came across as somewhat prescriptive. A more professional and customer-focused approach could help make the interaction feel more welcoming while still ensuring that important information is communicated effectively. I appreciated the attention to detail and the effort to explain the rental requirements. With a slightly more polished and personable communication style, the customer experience could be even better.
Troy PTrailer coupler for the trailer was very loose on the 2” ball. Rattled constantly when hitting the smallest bumps in the road. Coupler had no way to adjust it to tighten it up on the ball. Not pleased with the quality for the cost of the rental.
JASON MThis was absolutely horrible!! I brought the truck back with MORE gas than what I took it with, and I was still charged for 2.30 additional gallons of gas! In addition to this, I was charged for use of a U-Haul provided Dolly, which I did NOT use and did NOT request in my reservation. That was an additional $7. This is almost $23 in additional charges, which I should NOT have been charged. I am extremely upset about this, and have reported this to the store as well. If I do not receive this reimbursement, I will be reporting this to U-Haul customer service, the better business bureau, and every business rating platform I can find to leave a 1 star review. This is essentially stealing $23 from me for things I should NOT have been charged for. Paying over $100 is already a lot of money for using the U-Haul for 3 hours. Charging extra for absolutely no reason is absolutely absurd.
