Second time I have rented the same van. First time had to put air in back tire -this time had to put air in 3 tires and back left tire had to do it twice. I have a very busy schedule when I rent vans and this has taken a chunk out of my time to have to maintain tires. Also the gas cap was dangling and then fell off. I back tracked and found it but should have been fixed before I rented van. I believe you need to have someone double check for maintenance needs more often.

An insufferably complex and convoluted check in procedure with little to no exact information and directions to check out the vehicle. This is the last time we will ever rent this way through U-Haul. It took us at least an hour to complete this. Never again.
Bruce CMake sure tire pressure is correct. Very good van. Easy to drive radio and heater are simple and good
Michael CThe location is very convenient and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but the vehicle itself should NOT be rented until it is professionally cleaned and sanitized—or replaced with a new one if the odor does not get neutralized and resolved. It had an extremely potent marijuana smell that was frankly gross and unbearable — so much so that I personally smelled like marijuana when I arrived for a meeting after only driving the vehicle for 4 hours. I did not have the luxury of time to return and rent from a different location, so I had to personally get a bucket and cleaner and wash down every interior surface to try to minimize the odor as I had rented the vehicle for a week, and it was pretty unbearable to be confined in that space. That cleaning was thorough and only slightly reduced the odor. The staff apologized profusely and shared that a previous renter vaped inside and despite cleaning it several times, they couldn’t get rid of the smell. I looked it up and vape residue is oil based and penetrates and attaches to upholstery and other porous surfaces — like the wood and rubber mats. This vehicle should be changed out for a new one from the corporate office so future renters do not endure the same stench of odor.
MICHELLE GEmphasize testing the app before pickup. Wasted a lot of everybody's time getting that fixed.
