None of the phone numbers posted were working. When we arrived on site the place was open but the door was locked and no one was there. We waited 20 minutes. There was a truck we rented but the driver door stuck and the windows were very dirty. Everything else went very well.

I was told that the dollies were $7.00 each to rent but when I got the invoice I was charged $10. It was no big deal to me but I know lots if people that would have thrown a big fit over $3.00. The girl there was very helpful and friendly.

The truck(with over 100,000 miles) we received to travel across country (2500 miles) was horrible! Very disappointed-very noisy, hard to brake and should have never been given to travel that many miles. We broke down on the interstate and had to nurse it to the next exit. Should be taken off the road. The second truck was a newer truck with about 14,000 miles was good. No problems.

Both Tina and Jim went above and beyond to assist with our rental. We had a change of plans, which they accommodated graciously. We will definitely be back.

I requested an appointment through the corporate number for 7am. They set me up with a place that didn't even open till 9am. Then I completed the online checkout and it still took over an hour to get processed through. Online checkout said it would cut my time in half, it did not. This process delayed my departure by several hours and I ended up in weather that I should have been passed and I had to stay in a hotel over night. Overall this experience was awful.

The truck was clean and ready to go and the service was outstanding. Jim and his wife were professional at the same time personable and fun! How do you improve on that? Free rentals is the only answer. H. Leary

The units had been moved to this location from a full U-Haul facility. Two rear tires on the drivers side were almost bald. The Manager called for the tires to be replaced. We had also rented an Auto Carrier. Nobody checked the tires on that equipment. After the first days drive we checked the vehicles front to back and found two tires (one on each side) bulging massively. We contacted U-h-Haul's 1800 number and the attending representative indicated this should have been picked up before being delivered to the Peoria location. He replaced both tires the next morning. We stopped at the H-Haul facility in Weaverville CA as we had encountered some rain and the windshield wipers were in terrible condition. The owner of the facility replace them and in addition noticed that one of the wheel straps on the Auto Carrier had come loose. The first person had not shown us that there was a locking device on those straps. The owner (after hearing our tire story) indicated that something was very wrong that the tire problems and the wiper blades had not been picked up during inspection by the facility that delivered them to the Peoria location. The managers in Peoria were excellent but not totally qualified to inspect the vehicles front to back. I feel that something has to be done about the training of the Roadside Assistance people or whomever is responsible for vehicle inspection and maintenance. Ross
