Whoever knew renting a simple little truck could be so difficult? After a horrific "epic fail" with a RESERVED rental from Home Depot's Penske line of trucks ... while standing in their rental dept, I reached out to Van's Hardware in Pleasant View, TN. They were absolutely the most helpful, professional & just the "nicest" folks I could have ever hoped to make contact with. I canceled my entire order w/Home Depot ... drove to Van's ... & was immediately greeted by positive & friendly staff -- ready to get me on the road in a brand new -- less than 6000 mile vehicle -- better than I could ever have imagined! Thanks to Van's Hardware -- my dreaded drive from Nashville to Chattanooga was a pleasure, instead of a horror story. Reserved truck in Sango.,3 weeks in advance June 30 no truck renter didn’t bring back sango. Self storage found one in pleasant view tn. Drove 56 miles out of way at .99 cent a mile called customer service on hold 37 minutes Rep said sorry nothing u haul can do. Very rude and discerning.Feel should be refunded 56 in needed miles.

Although i know this would take a good amount of time. It would be better if putting larger chains on the transport trailers. We had a momment where i had to hit the breaks hard and swarve for the shoulder, on doing this the small truck on the trailer broke its tiedowns and slide forword over the front of the trailer 3ft. The rear catch chain broke And didnt "catch" the truck like it was made to do. The material used in the hook is to soft for that job. Thankfully it didnt damage anything real bad trailer amd rental truck were ok other than broken chain
