How U-Haul Reviews WorkNot sure what happened between when the trailer arrived at this facility and got hitched to the back of my SUV, but the front driver’s side tire had a significant, deep groove in it that caused the trailer to ride/sound like it had a flat. We filed an incident report immediately before loading a single box and the technician who arrived assessed the tire as a significant hazard. Further, the lugs weren’t bolted on correctly and the technician said that this could very possibly have resulted in a wheel flying off in transit, potentially overturning both the trailer and the towing vehicle. Glad we caught it early, and the trailer was totally fine otherwise, but initially, it was delivered to us in un-roadworthy condition. The facility staff were very courteous and even gave us a couple of extra days with the trailer at no added cost, which was very kind.
Jeremiah SEverything with the pickup was fine, very easy, and I was very pleased when I was offered two additional days with the trailer at no added cost. Basing this purely on the experience of pickup, driving and dropping off the trailer at my destination, my experience was overall positive. Everyone on both ends of the trip were extremely helpful and gracious. At one point I had to file an incident report and a service technician was dispatched extremely quickly and had me back up and running in well under an hour. I have moved many times, and every time I always hope that it will be the last time. But every time, I always rent some kind of U-Haul equipment, and I’ve done everything from the small tow behind trailers on up to a 15’ moving truck and they’ve all been excellent. So if I do end up moving again, I won’t hesitate to go with U-Haul.
