The desk person was friendly and efficient, but the physical location is creepy.

The online pickup / web portion of the rental was terrible. First, the website said the location was closed at 8:30am, but that's when it opens. It forced me to schedule an online pickup. That was bad since the online rep demanded I give her the name of 2 people she could call to verify my identity. At that hour, everyone is at work, commuting, or it's too early to call. No reason to do that at time of pickup -- shouldn't be necessary ever, but if you need that, state it clearly in advance and call the people in advance.

The customer rep. was nice but it took a while to find him. He cover the credit card screen saying that if I see it I would get confused. When I moved the paper he used to cover it. I noticed that it say I was gonna pay 10 dollars for the insurance fee when I had declined that when I made the reservation. And he told me that that’s why he covers it because it says something else in his computer. He also never told me that I was gonna be charge 3. 25 dollars if I pay with my credit card.

The truck smelt like marijuana when I got in it . The location is sketchy and my girlfriend did not feel safe about going there Alone. It’s literally a trailer under a bridge . I would like my money back

At my 7:30 a.m. drop-off, it was dark, the lot closed and no person was on site. Unless you had a flashlight, you couldn't read the instruction signs for 'after hours' key drop off. The GREAT news was that the attendant was instantly available via my cell phone, and he nicely provided drop off instructions AND called a cab for me! This drop off location is not for the faint of heart during darkness and after-hours drop offs (women use caution).

For the record; the guys at the Sandy store were jerks. I had to go to the Quimby location to pick up my truck, and was glad to do it Kerri

Bad customer service, incredibly dirty vehicle with bad odor, and charged for no reason for dirtying a vehicle that came to us filthy.

Express check-in was abysmal. Took almost one hour to get checked in. Arrived at reserved time, took pictures as directed and then was asked to take a picture of address and street where I was renting, then asked if I had a friend they could call to verify, what I have no idea. By now another person was in line in the office so waited my turn and had to enter info in again and wouldn't take the CC I used on line. So in at 8:30, out about 9:20 and they call it express. All this after I had went thru the express on line process. Next time it's a competitor for my rental. Too bad been using Uhaul since 1970's.

When I picked up the U-Haul, and he was putting it on my hitch, he did not have the rubber stoppers for the hooks and I tried to tell him that the chain needed to be crisscrossed over because it was so low it was dragging so he used some heavy duty bread rapper when I picked up the U-Haul, and he was putting it on my hitch, he did not have the rubber stoppers for the hooks and I tried to tell him that the chain needed to be crossed crossed over because it was so low is dragging so he used some heavy duty bread ties? I got us as far as sweet home and had my son-in-law look at it… It was a mess...The Uhaul guy was smoking while he was putting it on and was not really interested in doing it right. Would not recommend that location in Portland

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND MY HUSBAND FORGOT THE CONTRACT AND THEY SAID NO WORRIES AND LOOKED IT UP RIGHT AWAY. THEY GOT HIM UN-HOOKED AND ON HIS WAY WITHIN MINUTES. THANK YOU

The app on the phone is garbage. The check-in process basically doesn’t work. You basically have to wait in line and have them do it again. The attendant seemed confused and complained about management making him do this and that and reasons why he got bad reviews. If someone needs more drama in their life I highly recommend going here.
