The technician that installed the hitch failed to properly secure a wire running to the cars tail light. The wire chafed through because it was in contact with the muffler. The resultant ground caused both tail light and brake light failure on the passenger side. It took multiple stops at Ford and U Haul dealers to diagnose the problem. The dealer in Eureka, CA found and fixed it. They were great. Overall you were good and very responsive except as noted above.

the truck broke down 2 miles from the pick up location. Uhaul could not find a service to come look at the truck for hours and made us stay with the truck until someone could come! after 2 hours they finally let us leave the truck and go back and get another truck. Lucky for us we live 20 mins away and I could come and pick up my husband and drive him back to get another truck as you offered no solutions. We were delayed 3 hours because of this.

The trailer I had reserved had a turn signal out which we didn’t find out till I had already hooked up. First person thought it was my truck but after talking to another agent found out she remembered the trailer had an issue. Since they only had the one in my reserved size they offered a larger trailer. Worked fine but found out after hooked up someone had reserved it for 7am next day. Was told they would figure it out. Later in the day I got a phone call saying they couldn’t so could I return it by 7am or later that night. Not the best experience with U-Haul.

The staff is fantastic; helpful, friendly. and always customer oriented. It rarely happens, but my truck was a clunker this time around. It sounded like it was going to fall apart any moment. And the windshield had multiple, long cracks!

The folks here are first rate....wonderful to deal with. We rented an open trailer, which was in good condition, but a tire was compromised that we had to deal with when it was loaded. Not their fault.... These are good folk who will go above and beyond to do what will make your rental work.
