I specifically stated that after picking up the truck ..I was driving to my house...then to storage room 5 miles away.. driving home...then driving to my destination 77007 I was not allowed enough miles and had to pay twice for added miles?? This is wrong when I made it clear as what my intentions were. Refund my money I reserved an appliance dolly ...planned on using it ...pick uo truck ..no dolly Would have been nice to know ahead of time for planning purposes

The 6 x 12 enclosed trailer was well maintained, but it was old, and the interior wall brackets that extend from the front to back were of an old style and only 1 1/2" wide and 1/2" thick attached directly to the interior wall without spacing away from the wall. There was only a small slit every few feet to secure a thin rope through to fasten furniture to the inside. There was no way to use the hooks from my ratchet device. The wood rub strips were too thin to take the tension if I could have used them.

GARY JWe are a nonprofit organization that depends on reliability and efficiency, and our recent U-Haul experience was anything but. Although the gentleman at the pickup location was polite, the handling of our reservation was completely unacceptable. We made our truck reservation in person at the 1220 Minonite Rd, Rosenberg location, only to arrive on moving day and discover—without any prior notice—that our pickup had been changed to another site miles away. This sudden change caused major delays, confusion, and extra costs. We had more than 40 volunteers standing by to load, move, and unload within a tight time window. Instead, I ended up driving nearly 75 unnecessary miles because U-Haul unilaterally changed my confirmed reservation. What makes this even more frustrating is that a 20-foot truck was sitting on the lot at the original location, yet I was told none were available—even though the same person who made my reservation was standing there. After more than 40 years of using U-Haul through multiple military moves across the country, this was by far the worst service I’ve ever received. I felt misled and dismissed, and our nonprofit’s carefully planned move suffered because of it. U-Haul, you let us down. This experience demands your attention and a serious review of how reservations and customer communication are handled. I am sorry I cannot fill out the rest of this survey, as when we got the truck, the gas was super low, and right now, I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone!
