The initial location showed when I booked was a local area less than a mile away. When confirmation of the order was received, the location changed to over a mile away. They never said that check-in would require a mobile device using the U-Haul app. Nor were there instructions on the reservation indicating this. I arrived at a business with its gates closed and I had to figure out this stuff on my own - I got lucky. The truck itself was almost 20 years old and had the check engine light on the whole time. Sometimes it would not reverse properly when shifted into reverse. It worked out for me this time but I worry for someone less confident in their use of technology renting from here.

LAURA FIt was not easy to find it. And there was no place to pull in when I did find it. GPS was a little off. I think the customer service was excellent though and he was nice.
