First off, The door to the building was locked when I arrived during normal business hours, so I had to call them to have the owners wife show up from their home next door a few minutes later, then she assumed I knew nothing about trailers when my tow vehicle already had the connections and hitch with ball already installed and well used ! The trailer itself was full of snow, which i had to shovel off myself before going on the road in front of the owners wife with a shovel I had to borrow from them, so I wouldn't blind any drivers following me, and potentially expose myself to a ticket for a moving vehicle violation ! Also, during my inspection of the trailer before hooking it up to my tow vehicle I found one of the safety chain hooks were broken ! Lastly, I'll mention I caught all these things due to my many years of experience using, buying, repairing, rebuilding, passing inspections and reselling trailers as a sideline, a less experienced person may have found these things too late and possibly would have had to pay fines !!!
