We wished we had noticed that the floor of the truck was filthy. Everything that was on the floor of the truck was affected by a black film that stained our new carpeting and wood floors in our new home. The ramp latch needed to be manually set to hold the ramp when stored. The ramp also should have been cleaned due to broken glass pieces. I had to drive an hour from the airport because UHaul could not make my reservation in Portland as agreed. I was compensated for the cab ride but not for my time as this put me behind schedule and the added distance dug into my fuel budget. I never had any contact with any personnel as I couldn’t get to the location until after hours. Moving across country is stressful enough. This experience was not exactly stellar.
