I made a reservation over phone withbU haul.not with the location The rep over phone asked all pertaining info Said to go to location my unit will be ready for pick up on time (all you goy to do is give your name they can see your info,and get the key and you can go) none of it happened as told by rep or as expected by me. There was a men tending to register and I had to wait till he was able to help me.then when he finally had the time to help with my rental he kept asking another men how to do it or what to do next. He asked my name 3 times asked for my license 2 it was brutal Once I told him my pick up time was at 12 to 12 :30 he said we'll we need to have all your information before we let you take our equipment. After an hour of this. He finally asked and who will be driving truck I said my friend.he said OK then we got to do this all over if he is driving.i said OK we gave him license then he asked the other man again on how to do it.at this point I told them we need to get this going I just spent 1 hour and 10 min here on a reservation that took place over phone with u hour. We need to go we finally on our way the guy has me check truck . Truck was dirty on the inside driver side lots of durt. Then he says would you need a Dolly I responded I did request one with my reservation.was told it would be inside truck .he said no it's not true...he went to get one then told me he would have to add the charges for Dolly yo my account. It was the worst rental experience of my life and I have moved several times and used U hour several times in the past. Then come to find out I was never told by reservation people or rental place that I needed to download an app to be able to return truck and close my account at drop of.my day was a complete mess after all this. NO I WILL NEVER RENT AT THIS GAS STATION AND NO I WILL NEVER RECOMEND THIS LOCATION FOR TRUCK PICK UP.... unless you have lots of time to kill and don't need to make your move out time and return the truck late because they made you 2 hours late just getting the truck to you.
Gina AThe agent knew I was returning the truck that night at about 9pm, and assured me that he would be on duty. However, he left work at 8pm and I had to use the AI to check the vehicle back in. That is not my preferre option, especially when promised that ther would be a live agent to handle this. Bottom line ... don't promise service that you will not provide !!!
