The staff at the St. John's location have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. I rent u- haul a few times a year going great distances. I was recently up graded from a 5x8 to a 6x12 at no cost. This type of service keeps me coming back to u-haul . We had rented a truck for a 2 day period. Picking up at 12:30pm on Thursday and returning 12:30 on Saturday. A 2 day rental as per our summary, only to be told when we picked it that we had to have it back by 10:30am on Saturday. We couldn't access our apartment until 10am, all the more reason why we waited until 12:30 pm to pick it up. We are totally disappointed and had to find other arrangements for Saturday and ended up returning the vehicle a day early. We were moving 2 of our children to different locations, and could not complete this task with your help....so disappointedPAUL A D.

1. I requested no blanketsÂ because we moved some dirty materials and very many cartons, and the clean blankets (supplied) merely got in the way.Â Â 2. More importantly, I requested 2 dollies, (both during the phone order and during the pick-up service at the counter), and I was charged for 2 dollies, however, there was only one dolly supplied with the truck. The missingÂ dollie forced us to work differently than planned (in loadiing over 800 boxes onto the truck !! ..Â and then offloading them to relocate same, over the course of the 3 days!), and it forced the project to go much slower than planned. This project was an hour's drive (each way) from the U-Haul site so it was impractical to simply go back for the second dolly because we didn't have a second vehicle on the weekend to do so, and to use the truck would have about doubled the mileage on the rental, and the truck needed to be on-site for continual loading and unloading. I feel there should be a substantial reduction/credit for this costly error. It added upwards of 10-12 hours of labour and delayed the project significantly Please advise what U-Haul can do or offer to reconcile this disservice to an otherwise, (previously), satisfied customer.Peter A.
The staff at this location were great, very helpful and did everything to ensure the trailer was secure. The trailer was clean and worked fine until New Brunswick, when the ground wire for the lights broke off and I had to temporarily fix it, luckily I try and plan for every situation and had a spool of wire in my vehicle.BRENDAN PATRICK D.

I recerve the vehicle day before but when I went to pick it up they told me they don't have that size truck. They gave me the smaller one. I saw the truck I recerved there were few parked in the out size but I didn't get one. This is not a good experience as a customer. Now I do not recommend this to anyone and who ever I know gonna use this service I will share this experience because they will think I recerve the vehicle and plan ahead but when we went to get the vehicle we get a somewhat different.
