Truck was very very old! I requested an appliance dolly and the clerk told me it wasn’t returned. Instead of refunding my appliance dolly fee, he went to the back and grabbed an old rusty dolly with a flat tire and arms that didn’t adjust.

Only put no on the personnel because it was 12:45am, no one around. Really could use better lighting in the driveway/drop off area. A little sketchy in the complete dark to leave the truck. But I guess it was all ok.

Brad MMy experience was frustrating from start to finish. The pickup location was changed, and my pickup time had to be adjusted because of it, which was already inconvenient. I was told I would receive a text message to complete the checkout process through the app, but the representative never sent it. When I arrived at the facility, I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I called customer service and was told they couldn't find any information showing I was eligible to pick up the vehicle through the mobile app, meaning I would have to wait another hour until the location opened. Eventually, a gentleman arrived and gave me the keys, but he explained that he had never been informed how early I would be there. The lack of communication was obvious throughout the entire process. Returning the vehicle wasn't any better. I had limited Wi-Fi/service and the app-based return process took forever to complete. Overall, this was a very disorganized and frustrating experience. Poor communication, last-minute changes, and app issues made what should have been a simple rental unnecessarily difficult. Based on this experience, I will not be using U-Haul again.
