My reservation location was changed before the pickup date but I never received any type of notification. I went to the original location and was told I didn't have a reservation. This cause extreme delays in my day which was very inconvenient.

non-smoking u-haul vehicles. The vehicle we rented only had 5,000 miles but had been smoked in... was covered up with air freshener like a cheap and nasty hotel room. The clerk said "he couldn't do anything about what people do in the vehicles" but most rental car companies have strict non-smoking policies and charge damages for people who smoke in them.

Not sure if the last customer mentioned it. But the ramp was totally screwed. Couldn't be deployed. We told the drop off location about it and they said they would look. Also. The guy booking my reservation booked the wrong truck. Had to cancel and rebook.

Great customer service!



I went to use my room, # 2224, on June 17 and 18, but my key card did not work. I had to ask the staff to let me in several times over that weekend. I was told that I would be receiving a new card from U-Haul, but that hasn't happened. I would like to know what to expect. I've used the room since 2012 and spent quite a bit of money at your site, so it seems as though I should get better service than this.

Excellent. Really fast check-in process. U-Haul initially sent me to a business that doesn't exist, and their 800# just played music, so I drove over to Moran, which I know handles U-Hauls. The fellow at Moran was happy to take the return and helped sort things out with U-Haul. Great service. Pleasure to do business with.

Bummed on this experience! Everything was seamless until I returned to my house to find the 'furniture pads' we're missing from the truck. I called to let them know and let them know about it and to take them off my invoice, since I didn't have time to drive all the way back. After I hung up, I realized my wife could get them after all, so I called back and could only get to voicemail. (After 15 tries!) When my wife got there and explained that she was there for the missing pads, the guy gave her an attitude and explained I had called and cancelled and he wasn't giving them to her. They apparently don't check their voicemail ever! After discovering that it they had blown it, the guy copped an attitude and threw the pads in her trunk while sarcastically saying 'have a nice day'. (He was obviously angry) At the end of the day, he had messed up and should have been more than accommodating, but took the low road instead. Moving is stressful enough, being forced to take another hour out of a packed day for another person's mistake doesn't make it easier! Find another place to rent from.
