I originally made a reservation at a manned location that was nearest my move location so I could plan my miles usage and have a person on-site in case of mobile app checkin issues. My reservation was changed without my knowledge a few days later to an unmanned location that was farther away from my location causing me to use/need more charged miles. My reserved 20 foot truck was not ready/available at the rescheduled location so I sat on hold for 40+ min trying to talk/chat with tech support for the mobile checkin that kepy erroring out due to the non-checked in truck). Since my reserved truck wasn't officially checked in (but was there sitting in the lot...) they offered us a 26 foot truck (which would have been okay, however we were not practiced/prepared to drive a 26 ft truck as it's much longer and taller than the 20 foot. We did decide to accept the 26 foot truck because we had movers ready and waiting to load. Because of the increased truck size, we were unfortunately not able to drive and park the truck into the driveway due to above ground internet/powerlines and driveway length limitations, so the movers had to walk farther out to a busy street. Our return location (different than where we were told to pickup from) was thankfully not changed, so we were able to return without any issues. The return location was AMAZING and we hope to be able to pick up a truck from there when booked in the future. It is disappointing that you book a truck at a specific location for a very specific reason and they can change it on you without any recompense or input.
