I was charged twice, on my debit card. Also, I put the address in my g p s and found myself in an alley! After arriving I was told that it happened to another client..! The extra money I was charged still isn't in my bank account....., I just moved, I need that money!!!

From the time they started my process it took 50 minutes to do the paper work. Then it took another 15 minutes before he took me to the trailer. I gave all the information by phone when I reserved it and had a conformation number but that do any good.

I was disappointed that this pickup location was 6 miles away from my move from destination in 35023 that resulted in a time delay. I had been of the opinion that there was a location for pickup that was closer in. I was very pleased with the condition of the trailer and transport went remarkably well.

I had made a reservation to pick a trailer up at Farr Hardware in Bessemer. I was under a tight time crunch and got to the location at noon on Saturday. I was then told they could not rent me the trailer as the person who could do this was not in and they could not reach them. I could go in to the long story, but this really created a major issue for me. I had to call uhaul to get a pick up in another location and was hung up/disconnected on 4 times. This put us 2 hours behind schedule and we missed an event due to these issues. I'm not sure I can trust u-haul again for my next needs. Steve

The place was dirty. The guy didn't seem to know what he was doing. I had requested pads and he didn't have any, my wife had to go elsewhere to get some. The truck was dirty.

Ensure the owner is knowledgeable on mileage limits and early return policy. We were told the mileage was unlimited and that we would get a partial refund for returning our equipment a day early. However when we arrived a day early (less than 24 hrs from rental time), the Maklory Lane location in Franklin/Brentwood told us there was no partial refund and we in fact owed $37 for going over 222 miles. The customer service was lacking at both locations.

The location itself was very accommodating, and Emmanuel was very nice and polite. However, the customer service (at your "Customer Service" center) during the reservation was abysmal; the lady with whom I spoke was rude and impatient, and seemed to make a concerted effort to be difficult. Not only did she not try to help find a location that was convenient to me, but she did not listen to any of my requests and seemed angry that I was asking questions. The location is in an unsafe area. They didn't have furniture pads or a dolly that we requested when we booked online. We did not find this out until we picked up the truck.The gas was marked as being at 3/4 of a tank, but it was really at 1/2. The dealer didn't explain anything about the truck and when I did have a few questions he seemed annoyed. The truck also had not been properly cleaned.

I reserved 2) 26' units on May 1, 2016. I immediately started receiving emails, calls, and texts about this rental that concerned me. I kept being asked about why I had 2 confirmation numbers. I kept explaining that the person who I spoke with upon reserving them stated that they couldn't place both orders on one reservation number. This went on for one month. They were to both be picked up at one location at 0800 on may 28th. The day before the move, I received a text from UHaul referring to one unit, at the wrong location, at 1300. So, I had to pick up the trucks at 2 separate locations. One at 0800 and one finally at 1100. The one at 1100 ended up being 40 minutes away, and once i got thereit was a 17' because they didn't have the one I was supposed to get. If UHaul can't produce the results they tell you when you make reservations, they should just say so, so that you can make other arrangements, say with Penske. This is by far the worst experience I've had with anything in a long time. Everyone that I spoke with at the call centers were no help at all.

The customer service is horrible. I ordered a truck for 9 am. The person didn't get there until 11 am. And they also forgot to put all of the equipment that I purchased inside the truck. Horrible!

Person that was there didn't speak english. Hd truck turned in at 10 am and the haul person does show up till 2 pm.

They were just getting started in this business so I think that's why there was some confusion overall. But the staff was very friendly.
