The owner of the Uhaul renter at Food Barn is a typical uneducated money grubber who does not know the equipment. I was unfamiliar with the clamp for the trailer I rented. I "set it up" for me, and it came unhitched a mile down the road. I'm stuck with the $1000 bill for the repair, and this fool keeps renting on behalf of Uhaul. His license should be revoked, along with his H1B.
James NWith the rental of the car I ordered movers blankets. They had not been available. The owner just told me he does not have any. My wife drove about 100 miles to that location for me to pick up a piece of furniture. Without the blanket damage to the piece is unavoidable. I expressed that to this owner. He started to argue and wasted my time. It took about one hour to finally get the car.
Peter GAfter hours dropoff is not a good idea for this location. It is a gas station with no signage as to where the trailer should be parked. I also had furniture pads, which were left in the open trailer. Since I did the dropoff utilizing the U-Haul app, I noticed that it did not list the 12 pads, eventhough they were listed in the original contract. I ended up utilizing the app's Chat feature, to confirm that the pads could be left with the trailer. The "no" votes was due to no support after the station was closed.
