The truck was fine and in good condition, less than 27k miles. I did have to wait for the person to arrive who could process the paperwork, even though I schedule ahead of time but no big deal.

The sales rep was very polite and professional, and did the best job he could, esp. w/ your sluggish online system. If one needs to do something extra when dropping off after hours (like going to your website on my cell phone), that needs to explained VERBALLY by the sales rep, and not simply inconspicuously mentioned in the receipt. The pick-up location was about a 30-minute drive to get to! I understand that my first choice may (probably) won't be granted, but that was an excessively long distance, given that my area has MANY U-Haul dealers. I can't recommend the location to friends simply because it's too far away! Despite having checked-in online in advance, I still had to wait 20 minutes to get the trailer. This was NOT the fault of the rep - your online system was quite sluggish, and this has occurred EVERY time in the last couple years at other U-Haul sites I have used. Clearly, your online system needs to be optimized.

Make sure that you have what is reserved! The fact that I did not get the 26 foot truck at the location I wanted cost me considerable time in extra trips and gas It was nice that you cut the mileage rate in half, but the extra work and distance was hard!

To start off, we arrived at the Hazelton, PA location after changing our pick up time and adding a tow dolly. When we arrived we were not greeted or aknowledged at all. As the gentleman whom I'm assuming was running this location, was frantically running around behind the desk and mumbling to himself. Once we're finally acknowledged, we state why we're there. The associate behind the desk start on about how "these people don't know what they are doing", "this place is a disaster", so on, so on. He takes forever to look us up and says "oh you changed your pick up time, these call center employees need better communication". While checking our order he noticed that we added a tow dolly. He than proceded to throw a hissy fit, cross his arms & put his face down in arms on the desk. He no lie stayed like this for at least a minute. My fiancé and I are staring at him in complete confusion. He then exclaims that he doesn't have a tow dolly and that we will have to go to the Blakeslee, Pa location. Not only was this very inconvenient, but very time consuming. For our troubles the associate added more miles and gas for us. Being in the process of moving and wanted to get things done, this set is back. We go to the Blakeslee location, pick up the dolly and proceed to our plans. Everything runs smooth as far as the truck and move. The next day we drop the truck and dolly off at the Norristown location. All went well, we paid, got our receipt, and left. Today, I got an email at 8 this morning, stating to contact Uhaul about missing or late pieces. We call Uhaul and explain to them that we dropped everything off yesterday and paid. This operator told us in her system everything seems to be fine on her end & that the manager at the Norristown location must not be doing their job correctly. We were then told that she would contact the store, and the store would then intern contact me back to let me know that they messed up, and that were good to go. I never received a call or confirmation that we were in the clear. Not only am I upset with the poor service of this company, but I am astonished at the unorganization. For a nationwide company, I figured that there would be more to show for. Unfortunately, that is not the case. If I do not get a call to confirm that they in the wrong, I will tell everyone I know to use a different rental company. What a scam dropped of uhaul with same amount of fuel and they charged more fuel person wasnt there when i dropped it off so i couldnt verify with them will never use uhaul again and will make sure i pass info along ro wleveryone else i know

I rent a UHaul ever year... This year UHaul had me pick up the truck at a different location and it cost me twice as much for the same truck. Why? Cliffy7595@hotmail

Pick up went well, however, I vwas quoted by 1-800 U go U haul that my price would be $123.00 + 5.00. For the rental which would include my mileage On pickup I was charged $168.00 why??? That's what it came up when he entered on computer. Please let me know why?
