The location was great, the national support sucked. When we called in we were told that this location did not have an appliance cart or blankets. We had to contact another location for those only to find more than 10 carts and a room full of blankets available at the D Pauly location. Also why do you not dispatch a vehicle with a full tank of fuel and require it to come back full? The method of you got it with say a half tank so bring it back with a half tank is not accurate. With the cost of fuel today this is very inaccurate. Again the D Pauly folks were great, it was the national system that has issues, inaccurate info for locations, computer systems was down causing issues when we rented and inaccurate method for gauging the fuel costs for customers. Because of this next time I will rent from Pensky.

Close this location. The owner is not fit to represent U-Haul, or any other franchise. The owner was rude to me and another customer waiting for trailers. He loudly cussed at his computer, threw stuff off his desk and in anger, all over his office. A family member called him while we were waiting and we witnessed him screaming at his daughter (he told us) profanities and telling her not to call him at work, it was heartbreaking! I had made a reservation at another dealership which didn't have trailers. They found this dealership and my reservation was sent here. Well, apparently the action knocked out a walk-in application the dealer and other customer were in the middle of, and when I arrived at this location, he was in the middle of cussing his computer and getting angrier by the minute. It was scary! When he finally figured out what was going on and got our applications processed, he asked if I could hook up my own trailer, and disappeared. The trailer I rented was missing its pig-tail, and one of the safety chain carabiners was the wrong size, and wouldn't fit in the chain's link. When I tried to go back into the store for help, the door was locked, so I traded my crabiner for one on one of his other trailers, and took a pig-tail off the same trailer for my lights. I had my own ball and light adapter, which I purchased at the dealership in Fernley before going to Boise. I didn't have anyone to help me check my break lights, but checked my turn signals, flashers, and running lights myself. I was able to ask someone on the street to look and see if I had break lights when I stepped on the pedal. Good thing it all worked, because I would have had to troubleshoot and fix the problem alone, with inadequate tools and experience. The other customer left with no help, and no lights on his trailer. I was going to help him, but he wasn't interested. He was pretty disgusted with his experience too. I strongly recommend closing this location and forbidding this guy to ever open another one.

The staff at this UHaul location was very unprofessional and condescending. I will never go back there and will actively steer friends and family from there. The UHaul brand has been wonderful for me in the past. I've enjoyed my experience at other locations. Please visit this site and either fix it or remove their franchise

Poor installation of the trailer damaged my vehicle. I purchased the insurance but have had no reply from the agency since my return happened on Sunday. I expected a call with insurance instructions, but have been ignored to this point

well first of all after I drove it less than a quarter of a mile up the street to my house that I was moving from the gas went down significantly in less than 1/4 of a mile seriously.? Then as I was driving up the oil light came on stopped and how to check the oil so that was stressful then as it got dark I turned on the lights and could hardly see in front of me so I pulled over to make sure the lights were even working and they were on but very dim. I started to drive again because we had to get to our destination and turned on the brights when I could but even that I could only see a light up in front of me in the middle of the road so that being said I had to do my best to follow the white line all the way and it was extremely stressful I tried to get ahold of somebody but with no answer several times so since it was after hours I called the next day to report my issues to the 1-800 number that was provided on the truck for customer service. I was very stressed out regular maintenance should have been done the oil light should not have come on that early on and the headlights need to be fixed or adjusted.
