SAMUEL NWhen we told the Uhaul guy that the fuel levels were slightly above half when we got it and I was told to return it with the same amount of fuel, which I did, he says well the guy at the other location didn’t document it right so nothing I can do about it so an extra fuel charge was placed on our credit card. Horrible experience with this rental.

U-Haul’s policies and the way they have chosen to “schedule” equipment now is through a corporate centralized scheduling where NO ONE can guarantee you what equipment you will actually have available at the location you book with. I had to drive hours out of my way the day before loading the truck. They gave me money off but would rather have paid what I booked for and picked up a truck 20 minutes away the morning of my move.
