Business is open till 7pm but customer representative that operates the system leaves earlier and the rep that replaces him doesn't know how to use the system, which leaves you high and dry with your reservation. There are also no dollies and hand trucks at location either despite the app.

I am upset because I got charged for two gallons of gas when I dropped the vehicle off with the correct amount! The person that rented me the vehicle (Erol) was nice and knowledgeable. But when I went to drop the vehicle off at 8:30pm the man that received it told me that he doesn't usually do uhaul truck rentals but he'll take the truck. He wrote down the new mileage on a napkin and took the key. I asked him to please check the gas to make sure it's at the correct level and he said it's fine and not to worry about anything. He said that I will get a receipt emailed to me in the morning. The receipt that I received states that I was charged $9.00 plus tax for 2 gallons of gas. I left the truck with the correct amount of gas and I have a photo of the dash board with the new mileage and gas gauge as proof. I would like that money refunded to me. Thank you.

I had no issues with the location or the rental people. My issue is with the Uhaul company and its online reservation scam! I went to one location first, a block from my home. With over 20 new vans in the lot (which I watch sit and not move for months) they said they had no rentals. Wouldn't help but would spend time talking about shoes to the customer before. I go online, find they did have one (1) but not till long after I would be done with it. I checked around on the website and found one and gave me a pickup option of 12noon. I went to said location where two vans sat and they said I don't have one reserved here. I look at the email closer (as I reserved) but when I went to the itinerary, it stated my location but further down added a new location. I head that way (now two taxi rides) and find a text upon my arrival saying it is there and I'm reserved for 4 hours from that time. I needed it then. Thankfully the gentalmen was understanding and cooperative and got me one someone didn't pickup, but still... what a stress and waste of my time your online and systematic company can be. How dare your company be so shady. The first place I went to had MANY vans. What a bait and switch and waste of my time. I even considered getting a storage unit that day while I was there. I will never do business with Uhaul again!

I rented a cargo van on Saturday 08/11 at 11:30 am and returned the same day at 500pm.. I forgot my ez pass inside and remembered at nite time when was closed already, called on Sunday morning and left message letting thme know and also my contact info, didn't received a call back so I went on monday 08/13 and someone gave it to me. I checked my acct and my ez pass was used on sunday 08/12 at the GWU bridge, Im very upset and fuming because I didnt have enought money and got charged a fine. that is very irresponsible of your company be all vehivles should be revised and checked prior to renting to others.. this happened at the west farms location in the bronx.. When I reserve a 20 ft truck and get stuck with a 15 ft which causes additional work and costs to my project, I’m not happy.

My reservation was changed twice. I was not able to drop off my truck despite reserving that option, and on the day of, my truck was changed from a 10ft truck to a 20ft truck. I had to hassle the attendant to not charge me the rate for the 20ft truck but my original rate, and to give me the $50 discount as mandated in our contract. The truck's key constantly locked, and the cab was dirty and not well maintained. I will not be returning to UHaul in the future as it caused me unnecessary stress to figure out new travel plans on the day of my move.
