Bad customer service. The gentleman that helped didn't know what he was doing. Also to charge a 1.00 per mile when it's in the area and I use my own money to fill gas up. Should not charge for miles unless it is being used to go out of state or something. I had no choice because I had a limited time to move. Was also rushed to get it back as well.

Hello, My name is Jerry Harris and I reserved a U-Haul truck on November 29, 2017 at 6:30 pm ( scheduled a reservation online. When I picked up the vehicle, everything was went well and the gentleman at the Brookpark, OH location was very nice. Upon my return of the vehicle to the Brookpark, OH location, the representative, Sean M. was EXTREMELY RUDE. He didn’t greet me, and began speaking in a very rude tone. I can was informed to return the UHaul at before 6:50pm on November 30, 2017. I arrived at 6:45pm and he had an attitude and stated, “OMG, I’m trying to be out of here by 7pm,” and he stormed off! I was shocked and thought I was daydreaming for a second because of how rude he was to me, as customer ... without customers, there is no business. Sean McMahon came running out of the store and yelling, “PARK UNDER THE CAR PORT!” I parked the Uhaul in the spot where I picked it from. I asked him what his problem was and told him that he was being very rude. I’m very shocked that I was treated this way upon returning the truck, on-time, as I was instructed to. I’m very upset that this person represents your company and this concern needs to be addressed, not just overlooked. Keeping rude people like this will definitely impact your company. Have larger vehicles readily available. I had to use a smaller truck because the trucks were either reserved or out of service. The truck i used worked perfect as usual and i was in and out as fast as you possibly could be. I just think more equipment needs to be at this location. Thank you Uhaul

I had a reservation for 4pm on a Saturday. Scott was the only one working during this time, and I didn't get acknowledged for about 20 minutes after entering the store because of this. Not his fault, but should have had more than one person working. He was really nice, but there are clearly issues within this store. In my time there, I heard about not getting pay raises, things being changed in the system without notifying him, and not being able to tend to health issues because there were customers in the store. This store seems like it needs a manager to improve professionalism and needs someone who can staff the store correctly. No issues with the vehicle or the return.

Have better instructions on where to leave the items that are returned after closing. Additionally, I attempted to log onto the website as the signage suggested and could not figure out how to complete the return.

U-Haul Contract #29523757 Rental: 15173 Brook Park Rd, Brook Park OH. Return: 2626 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix AZ Because of a prior reservation that had to be cancelled because of Hurricane Harvey, there was some confusion about the site of pickup and the wrong duplicate reservation was cancelled. When I showed up at the original site (10701 Book Park Rd, Parma OH) by walking from my hotel nearby I discovered that I was almost 3 miles from the actual pickup site with no transportation to get there. The personnel at 10701 Brook Park Rd graciously drove me to the other site at 15173 Brook Park Rd to pick up the truck, great customer service. The contract has all these rules about leaving a clean deck or there will be charge for cleaning and yet the truck I received had 4-5 nails/screws on the deck that were obvious and which I handed to the attendant. The cab was filthy. There was a thick film on the inside of the windshield (probably that last renter was a smoker) and it caused the sun to glare and decreased my visibility – this was a safety issue. I had to borrow some Windex and paper towels from the hotel I was at in order to clean the windows before starting the trip. The seats were dirty, the cup holders had dried sticky liquids in them, and something on the floor was also dried and sticky. It took me an hour to clean the cabin and make it livable for my 5 day journey. This was my second rental in a month that I returned 1-2 days early and with less than the allotted mileage. Suggestion: There should be some credit back for early returns – it would make for great public relations and advertising. The truck drove well and appeared to be in good mechanical condition. Return was very efficient without any surprises.

I selected a drop-off location when I registered online: RadAir Lorain, 180 Millstone Ln, Amherst, OH--near my destination. THERE IS NO RADAIR AT THAT LOCATION, NOR ANY U-HAUL DEALER OF ANY SORT!!! It's a frozen food processing plant! It took me over an hour to locate another place to drop off my rental. How hard can it be to keep the online information correct for your customers?

I turned i my van 40 minutes late (yes my fault). I was then charged $50 (a fee that isnt stated ANYWHERE). Also having to deal with 2 workers that didnt not know how to do their jobs and gave me attitude. I will not be renting from this location ever again and not with Uhaul period if I have a choice.
