Check out by employee with Uhaul logo on shirt was just fine. Upon return as I went to check the vehicle in a man who I had never seen before, not wearing anything to identify him as Uhaul representative came running out of the office and aggressively asked me if I was returning the van, I said, "Yes" and he then demanded that I give him the keys. I was so confused and put off but I said "I need to check the van back in first" he said "I know, give me the keys" and said "Who are you?" (as, again, he did not introduce himself and had nothing to identify him as a Uhaul rep) and he rudely said "I'm the owner! Who do you think I am?" At this point I was extremely annoyed and upset to be treated so rudely by anyone, let alone to be treated like this by the owner of a business that I WAS A CUSTOMER OF! I replied "How am I supposed to know that?!?!? You're not wearing any logo and you didn't check me out when I picked it up." and he said something rude and demanded that I just put the keys in the drop box and would not properly check the van in. At that point I completely lost my temper and we insulted each other as I stormed off the lot. This guy's franchise should be immediately revoked. I have never been treated so rudely for no reason by anyone I have done business with.
Terrible. Was quoted at $45 for the use and time needed, then was charged $90 with no explanation or bill that shows the fees charged. No email with the bill was ever sent to me. Cannot get someone on the phone and have been on hold for over half an hour after being hung up on immediately once I finally got through. Absolute nightmare.
Convenient drop off
The manager and team at the service center was great. The major complaint we have is with your corporate reservation system and having our reservation cancelled two times, and only finding out the night before, or when I called to check. My wife was not aware that we signed an acknowledgement that the reservation could be cancelled up to 6pm the night before the pick. Even with this acknowledgement it is very disruptive to plans to move with commitments and deadlines that depend on the move.
Good location, truck was clean, good customer service
One of the two staff members, either the manager or the more seasoned staff member , did not wear a face mask inside the small office. The woman who was training did wear a mask. We were wearing masks as required. This made us very uncomfortable as he was helping with the transaction and in close proximity to us. Also, there was no washer fluid in the truck and with all the ashes from CA fires we couldn't easily clean windshield. Both team members were very nice.
Gypsy was really sweet and honest and I greatly appreciate that. She is a hard and good worker! I spoke to Carlos this morning about slight issues in my bill and he was very helpful. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND! I'll highly recommend this place to others!
Ensure the correct location for pickup is emailed. I was emailed the incorrect location and waited 49 minutes only to find out i was supposed to at a location 20 min away.
No one was there to return the truck. Very disappointed! I want some return of my money

Exterior of the Truck was dirty
There was only one place to park, and it was on the street. So i got lucky.
The person wasn't there at my scheduled pick-up time, so I had to stand around for 15-20 minutes.
The pick up person that assisted us was very generous and helpful. I would definitely rent here again because of the stellar customer service that was provided.
The $19.95 per day for the van seemed great. However it's misleading because when you add in the $.79 per mile it became very expensive. 100 miles round trip plus gas and it cost me $125 just to deliver a painting. Ouch. I will try to find a cheaper alternative next time. I'll come back if I can't.

Original vehicle was not available and had to take a smaller vehicle. Was charged $14 for fuel after rep said not to worry about it as I was driving 5 miles. Will not use this location again.
The equipment that I reserved for in the Belmont, CA location was not available so I was told that there would be one in the Mountain View,CA. When I arrived there, after driving an extra half hour mind you, I was told that the customer was told by workers that he could have the trailer for an extra week and they had failed to call me to tell me. I had driven an hour to this location to be told then that i had to drive another 45 mins to pick one up. This comment is mainly directed at both the Belmont and Mountain View locations and did not reflect the very helpful servicer at the Burlingame location. The equipment had something slick in it that made it difficult to load things into. It was not the servicer fault due to the fact that he had just had that trailer dropped off prior to the customer customerservice rep reserving it for me after i drove to Mountain View. Given the fact that i had to go through all that frustration without so much as a discount, I am never using Uhaul again, and will be greatly discouraging my friends and family to do the same in the future
The only war to improve my experience is to not charge me anything! Outstanding!
