Modesta AThe drop-off process itself was fairly straightforward, and an employee came out while I was completing the return through the app and taking the required photos. They inspected the vehicle and noted that there was a cardboard box inside that needed to be removed. The issue was that the box was already in the truck when we picked it up. We explained that it had been left there by the previous renter, but we were told it didn’t matter and that we still needed to dispose of it because it was not part of the rental. I understand that the truck should be returned empty, but it was frustrating to be responsible for removing an item that was already in the vehicle when we received it. Other than that, the return process was relatively smooth.
