Dear U-Haul Team, I am writing regarding my rental under Contract No. 82146600, which was returned on August 29, 2026. After reviewing the receipt and my payment records, I noticed several discrepancies and would appreciate your assistance in reviewing the transaction. 1. Fuel charge I personally purchased approximately $20 CAD worth of fuel before returning the vehicle. Despite this, the final U-Haul receipt shows an additional $31.04 fuel charge. Could you please verify the fuel level recorded at pickup and at return and explain why the $31.04 fuel charge was applied? 2. My calculation of the rental charges Based on the receipt, my understanding is: Charge Amount Mileage – 16 miles × $2.07 $33.12 CDW $16.00 Rental charge $19.95 Utility Dolly $5.00 Environmental Fee $1.00 Subtotal excluding fuel $75.07 Estimated HST (13%) $9.76 Expected U-Haul charge excluding fuel $84.83 Fuel purchased by me separately $20.00 My total actual cost $104.83 The receipt, however, shows $119.91 as the total rental charge. In addition, based on my bank/payment records, it appears that $123.22 CAD was debited from me in total. Therefore, based on the above calculation: Total debited: $123.22 Expected total cost including my $20 fuel purchase: $104.83 Difference: $18.39 I would appreciate it if you could verify these amounts and provide a complete breakdown of the transaction. 3. Pickup location When I initially made the rental, I was informed that the pickup location was: 5086 Creditview Rd, Mississauga, ON However, the location/arrangement appears to have been changed, and I was not informed beforehand about any change in the pickup location. Could you please clarify why the location was changed and why I was not notified? Request for resolution Could you please review the following: The $31.04 fuel charge, considering that I had already purchased approximately $20 CAD of fuel. The difference between the $119.91 shown on the U-Haul receipt and the $123.22 actually debited from my account. The calculation of the rental, mileage, CDW, dolly, environmental fee and taxes. The reason for the change of pickup location without prior notification. Whether any amount was charged incorrectly and, if so, please arrange a refund of the applicable amount to my original payment method. I have the fuel purchase receipt and my payment/bank records available and can provide them if required. I would appreciate a detailed explanation and reconciliation of the charges.

The location was great, despite my having had a problem with my app - I made the booking on-line, but it wouldn't transfer onto my app, so I made a second booking on the app, but it came up with the wrong equipment. The location was able to resolve my problem perfectly - but the app needs a bit of work. Interestingly, I was able to use the app to document my pick-up of the truck via the link I was sent by text or email, however I was not able to return the truck using the app (it never appeared as a rental on the app). Once again, the location managed the return well.

Danish AThe app was extremely difficult to use as it would not allow me to upload any pictures. Pick up time was 8, I got there earlier to complete the check in but that took me so long. You should give a heads up of how long the check in process is - if you can upload certain things in advance such as drivers license and verify before it would save time and stress.
