The entire experience was poor. From not knowing if I'll actually have a truck available, to getting to the location and the app telling me there's no equipment available, then nobody at the shoe store (moonlighting as a U-haul dealer) not being open, then finally getting a truck (the shopkeeper drove me to it) after providing a bunch of information I already submitted online, to having to clean out the cab (drinks, fast food trash, etc.). The truck had about 1/8 tank of gas so I had to purchase gas at city prices. I got about 1.5 hour late start. Come on U-Haul, you're better than this,.Mark P.

Despite talking to two U-Haul customer service agents who confirmed I could pick up my truck before the location opens and receiving instructions via text about this as well, I get to the store and was not able to do so. I sat outside for multiple hours waiting to get my truck. The employee said U-Haul didn't tell him he needed to be at the store until 2 hours after my reservation.Matthew R.
Inside of truck was dirty. There was a bag of trash and food in the bagâ€”disgusting. Gas tank was almost empty. I ordered and paid for additional equipment but it wasn't in the truck. Had to go to another location to pick it up and was charged again. Register my complaint w customer service and was told someone would contact me but have not heard from anyone. It was a bizarre experience. When we arrived Jessy was nowhere to be found, instead his brother called him up, and put him on speaker phone for us to complete our reservation. He then hung up on us many times throughout the process and told us to instead text him. And then they just told us to find the uhaul on the street, did not know which one was for us. We waited about 25 mins just to complete the pick up with all of the back and forth on the phone.JAMES H.
