Well... I was told this location was close to 275. It's 10 miles away! Which means a 20-30 minute drive to get to where I was going. I asked for one close to 275. This wasn't! Learn the locations before you tell someone it's close to a certain location.

I was supposed to pick up A 9in cargo van on Saturday @ 12:15, at the northside location. I received a text @ 8:30 that morning saying my pick location had been changed to Gleyways location wich is clear across town with out my approval. So I call to see what was going on and the girl I spoke to said all they had available at the location I had previously picked was a 10in truck so I agreed to take that she assured me my rates would be the same that i received for the cargo van and that she would keep me down for my original pick up time but told me if I wanted to pick up early that would be fine. So I get there early to get the truck and of course it is not available until the original time, when I asked the guy about the price being the same as what the girl had assured me he said no it would be 20 cent higher.... I decided to just change my moving day ( good thing I was able to) to the next day to get the original price and vehicle I had reserved in the first place.... I will say the guy Tony that I dealt with was friendly....

The service we received was horrible. We scheduled and had confirmation for pick-up at another location. We arrived on time, and the truck wasn't there. We were transferred to the Hamilton Ave location. We arrived there and were told we were going to be responsible for the extra mileage!!! When we asked about our options, the guy at the counter said our other option is "to not have a truck." What kind of customer service is that?! We are so disappointed and will never use U-Haul again.

How you have a customer contact center and no supervisor or manger there to take over calls. You have your representatives tell customer “I’ll send a message and have them call you” no one ever called! I requested a supervisor call twice. My invoice wasn’t fixed properly and your store rep was intoxicated and rude when I requested to have mileage reimbursed since I arrived at my house to find there was no Dollie to move my appliances which I requested over the phone and had to go back and get it. That was so inconvenient. I hope someone reads this and works on improving U-Haul overall customer satisfaction.

First of all they gave me a store that wasn't even close to our house, then the way you all charge for the truck (the mileage) Because I think that it is a little too much because I thought it would have been cheaper to rent a UHaul to get one piece but I was out of more money renting a Uhaul then I would have paid a stranger on the street, The truck cost $19 but I end up spending 58.00 for not even a hour. plus had to put gas back in the truck. I just thought that it was a bit much for not even a hour and to only pick up one piece, just coming from the store was a cost because I had to go from Northside (your store) to Western Hills then to Mt. Airy and back to the store. I ask could I drop the truck off at a closer location and I was told that I couldn't do that. Then to top it off when I got back to the store to pay, the person was not there I had to call the customer service people to see where they was, then when he got there he was not friendly at all. So I was really not satisfied with the service this time.

Was told by dispatcher that engine and truck were checked over and all was correct. I checked engine oil, which was about 1 gallon!! too low. Truck bed was not clean and blankets were thrown in. Truck cab had purple corn chip crumbs on passenger seat. In order to make use of the truck, I had to drive to an autoparts store to buy oil. In the end, I was chastised by the manager that I had violated U-Haul policy by opening the engine bay and check the oil. That was the final straw of absurdity. Also, a caution light in the dash kept illuminating and making audible noises. This despite the manager insisting that he had checked out the truck and determined that it was in good shape before I rented it. Overall, my experience with this Uhaul rental was incredibly poor.

Is the damage waiver subjective? I was not asked if I wanted it or not. The sales person elected to chose it for me and then just told me to sign. So why even have the option other than to squeeze an extra $10 bucks out of me. I would love an answer.

The truck was fine. The car dolly was in poor condition, although sufficient to get us there. The person working there was not able to give us any instruction on how to use the car towing dolly.

Although UHaul is totally NOT to blame, UHaul should be aware that the mover team we hired (Moving Help) failed to show up (after confirming the day prior), leaving us in a lurch. Only after multiple, multiple attempts to contact them by phone were we able to reach them. With the help of family/friends we got the move done, luckily. Enough said.

I am 6 ft and the seat only went back so far so I was uncomfortable. The thing to help you save with mileage doesn't actually help, I stayed in the green and when I got back the employee said I went 39 miles when I know it was a 24.7 miles to and from. I put gas in where I was told to put it and I did but the 8 min drive took me down to where I had to pay $5 when I dropped it off.. I didn't feel like nor was I I'm the mood to have this conversation with the employee because I just got done moving and was drained.

There was no one at the service desk when I arrived, when an associate did walk in (ultimately the associate that assisted me) they did acknowledge nor greet me at all. They were very dry in inquiring how they could assist me that day. I was not given a hard copy receipt. Low and behold, there was a charge to dispute on my card. I contacted the Northside U-Haul branch several times for assistance with this matter over three weeks to no avail. Once I was given a manager's cell number, called him and was told that he would check into my situation and follow up. It is now almost a month and I finally got through to their customer service to retrieve my original receipt (which had a major error) and explain my situation to another representative who then directed me here. Very disappointing experience, not pleased at all.

We had pickup scheduled for 7. Their opener didn't show and the GM came in around 7:10. He wasn't very friendly or welcoming. Our uhaul was supposed to come with a dolly and furniture pads and it didn't. Poor service and mediocre staff from what we experienced. We won't be going back to this location.

Everything was fine except I wanted to return vehicle to a closer dealer. Called your customer service to change drop off wouldn't do it said had to rent one way to do that. Also put on hold several times and then dropped. The total milage was not more than 10 miles from 1st rental site. A little customer service would have been appreciated.
