Location was great. U-Haul website was a little confusing; booked pickup at one location and the confirmation had that location on it. Followup text had another location on it without mentioning that there was a change. Booked location didn't have the trailer, texted location did. Luckily they are fairly close to each other and neither one was very busy.
Try having the truck cleaned out!
Staff was helpful and friendly
The lady at the counter was very receptive to the information I gave her in regards to the trucks condition. She said someone was scheduled to take it to Georgia and that she would not let them take it in that condition. This is what I would expect and this is not the precautions that were taken at the pickup location.

We were rented an old, obsolete, piece of crap, leaking trailer for a cross country move. Absolutely terrible. u-haul sucks

I will also talk about the rental before hand in this portion of the review as I never got a survey link. My rental from Texas to Colorado was a frustrating experience. I had to change the size of the trailer that I rented. I was instructed to cancel the rental and create a new one. I called to verify the cancelation and the rep I spoke with re submitted my canceled reservation but did not cancel the new reservation. This caused me to be charged for the rental three times. It took a week and a half to straighten that out. I was also told the trailer I was picking up was at servers different locations so I ended up going to each location to confirm where the trailer was. The trailer we received was in good shape and clean. Returning that trailer was also challenging. The rep never assigned a return location on the rental. When we called we were told to take the rental to a location in Colorado Springs. They tried to refuse the trailer and charge us $300 for a re-location fee. We ended up having the manager call corporate to get the return accepted. The second pickup was alright. The rep at the location was friendly. Our assigned pickup location was almost 20 miles away from the requested location. The trailer we revived was in poor condition. The inside was extremely dirty. The wiring seemed to be wearing out on the trailer as well. Each time we used the brakes or turn signals it messed with the cars electric system. Our displays would switch into night mode. This issue was not resolved by replugging in the connection. This trailer had a different style door than the last which changed how we loaded it. This made it much harder to pull.
well i needed onew more day and when i called to ask there was no big deal but when i showed up they said it was going to be 280.00 extra.
Even thought we were there hours before their published closing, the door was locked with a note saying they would be back soon, waited 45+ minutes when the door opened for someone else. We jumped up to turn our rental and she said oh yes, i knew you wer coming and took the key.
Carolyn was very professional and friendly - We appreciated her prompt and courteous service (and directions). I also want to add that Tim & Janellah at your 801 S 8th St, UHaul in Colorado Springs, CO was also very helpful guiding us to her.
My pick up point got switched to one 12 miles farther, I confirmed i would be there at 9 am and she entered 10 am. I confirmed a dolly and blankets and well she had to dig for the dolly. 40 minutes to get a truck with a reservation..... really???
Overall experience with UHaul was poor. Would not recommend or use again-and I am a long time user. Due to apparent "computer glitches" our rental location was moved-email offered us another location-that was changed- email confirmations would come for the wrong location- my rental was yesterday and 24 hours later I just got another confirmation for pickup for my yesterday rental. If your IT is this awful- stop encouraging customers to use it online and on every phone call- you just lost a customer over "computer glitches"- don't have the time when you're moving to put up with poor service. One bright spot- Nicole in Colo.Spgs dispatch was very helpful and both locations we use were very helpful.
