New van. Everything was great.
MELEAH PRented a truck last weekend and the whole process was super smooth. The staff at the counter had me checked in and out in under ten minutes, and the truck was clean and ready to go. drop-off at the end of the day was easy, too. No hidden fees or surprises on the receipt. Would definitely use this location again
Nancy MI picked up the U-Haul truck with less than 1/4 of a tank of fuel, but the employee marked on the paperwork that the truck had 1/4 of a tank. I immediately pointed out that the fuel level was incorrect, but they did not make any changes to the paperwork but said there was no problem. When I returned the truck, I left it with slightly more fuel than it had when I originally picked it up. Despite this, I was charged $70 for fuel. I believe this is completely unfair and dishonest. I specifically reported the incorrect fuel level at pickup, but the employee said it was not a problem I should not be charged for fuel that I did not use. I am requesting that this $70 charge be reviewed and refunded. I expect U-Haul to investigate this situation and correct the charge accordingly.
