We had a horrendous experience picking up the van. This is the second rental we've done in a year and had the same issue both times with the app not working to upload the photos upon pickup. This morning we waited in the phone queue for an hour and 12 minutes. You really need to put yourself in your customers shoes. Moving day is emotional and a huge step for many people. When we rented last year it was to move our aunt to an independent living facility. This time it was to move our autistic son into staffed housing. These are big days with big emotions and these delays are not helpful. I would appreciate some sort of financial reimbursement, but really hope you can find a resolution to the app issues to make the experience far less painful.

I wish the attendant had taken the time to go over the truck with me; the handoff felt a bit rushed and when I got home I realized there was a bunch of trash in the truck bed. Used cigarettes, open containers of food, and a Powerade bottle that was filled with cigarette butts and some kind of liquid I don’t wanna think too hard about. I had to clean and sweep all this out before loading and that’s pretty unacceptable. Other than that, pick up was easy and the truck was in fine condition.

Monica PThe people were very nice...very well run operation. However, the truck's windshield defroster barely worked, and the windshield wiper fluid would not spray. Also, apparently U-Haul had removed all the blankets/padding from this location and I had to go to a different location to get them.
