If I could put zero stars i would. This was my first and last time using uhaul. From pickup to drop off there was issues with the truck I rented. For pickup my key was not in the drop box which also took my 45 minutes past my allotted time to get. I HAD to call assistance and be on hold for over 10 minutes and by the time it finally got my key from the manager it was over an hour past my pickup time. Luckily the move was itself was the only thing that went smooth. On the way back after we finished packing the van wouldn’t start. It took us about 10 minutes to get it started and it finally turned on but wouldn’t go past 10 miles per hour. I’m a 23 year old girl and this was awful to get stuck in alone in the dark. Finally after trying to get assistance and kept getting told error through the uhaul app I tried again and just slowly made it to the chevron minutes before drop off. Drop off through the mobile app took forever and wouldn’t complete the drop off so many times. I remember having to pay to get my keys and it asked me to pay again before drop off the same price so I really hope I didn’t get charged twice. Awful experience on uhauls part. This was incredibly frustrating and stressful and i cried on the side of the road trying to get this truck back. The check engine light came on and everything. I in total there and back drove less than 20 miles.
