the person checking me in did not make sure to contact the manager that the auto transport had been returned .Recleived a phone call the next day asking when I was to return equipment, I was not charged an extra fee, just thought this was a bit sloppy.

U-Haul was updating its computer system while I was there to check out my van. It caused the check out time to be drastically longer than expected. The workers at this location were incredibly patient and explained why things were slow. They were super helpful and I appreciated their great attitudes during a frustrating time.

I've lost a ledger notebook and have made repeated calls asking if anyone has found it, but nobody has called me back. PLEASE have someone call me, this thing is INCREDIBLY important to my boss and his entire business.

I rented a 26 ft from this location 2X a yr. LOVE the service from the staff. The vehicle's air conditioning worked for perhaps 5 min. at most. I had - 2 Guide Dogs for the Blind in training laying on the floor. I had what I thought was cold air blowing on them but it was in fact warm/hot air. My one Guide Dog got very sick at our location and all the way back. I had to take him to the vet who said it was similar to a heat stroke. This could have been even worse. I was in the middle of the I-25 four lane during the morning rush hour and unable to pull over once I realized it was heat and not cold air on them. We are a 501c3 non profit (48 yrs of FREE service) and were picking up between 8,000 & 10,000 items for single moms. I had 70 volunteers waiting on my arrival. My hands were tied. VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! There is no way this vehicle air conditioning was checked after being returned from the last trip. This is the second vehicle I have rented with faulty air conditioning. I only went 21 miles, yet I got charged for 23. Gauge said 3971 on entry, the person checking me in wrote it down. ended with 3992. The gas gauge said 1/4 of a tank, I had to put in 3 gallons for 21 miles. When I questioned this, I received no response. Gas cost me $8.53 for 3.006 gallons. 21 or 23 miles, the van should do better or customer notification should happen to avoid running out of gas.

There were issues with the height of the vehicle that I was pulling. They talked about how I could get it on the dolly but there were no provisions to assist in making that happen. It would be helpful to the customer if 12 inch planks or either purchased or at least suggested bed can be purchased from Home Depot before hand To assist in loading vehicles.

I made an appointment to have the wiring installed on my hitch for a new trailer. When I made the appointment on the phone I was told it would take about an hour and I would be able to just wait there. I made the appointment for 8:30 am so that I could then use my car for the rest of the work day. I'm a landscaper and need my car for work. When I dropped off my car I was then told that it would be ready by the end of the day. I said that I was told it would only take an hour and the response was that the hitch person wasn't even there yet and it was a call center who made the reservation and they didn't quote the right time. I was upset and then needed to rent a truck to use for the day because, like I said, I need my car. The truck rental was an added expense that I was not planning on. It was then 5:45 pm that I was called and told that they hadn't even started working on my car because they were still working on another one. They promised that they would start on my car first thing in the morning. Again, I was upset but needed the wiring installed and since they promised it would be done first thing I figured it would be okay and they said they wouldn't charge me for an extra day with the truck. The next day I waited and called at around 11:30 am to see if my car was ready. The woman who answered the phone looked at my name and said that my car was ready to pick up. When I went to drop off the truck I saw that my car was in the garage being worked on. I told the manager that I had just been told my car was ready and again he told me that it was the call center who gave me incorrect information and he said that my car would be ready in about an hour or hour and a half. I had to grab tools out of the back of my car to use since I'd originally left them in there thinking it would only take an hour. I was finally called at about 4:30 and told that my car was ready to pick up. This was 4 hours after being told it would take one more hour. In the end, a service that I was told would take 1 hour actually took 32 hours and I felt that I was strung along the whole time. It is clear that there is a lack of communication between the call centers and the stores and their time estimates are way off. U-Haul is great for rentals but I would never want to go back for hitch services and would not recommend anyone else use their hitch services either. Overall it was a very frustrating experience.

Billy was great and very helpful! He definitely went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly with my pickup. The man working the pick-up and drop-off was also very friendly, though I didn't catch his name. In all this is a great branch! I've used 5-6 different branches before (mostly on the east coast) and this was definitely the best experience I've had.
