I've rented here in the past, and every time has been a positive experience. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable and are able to get me in and out quickly. I've used u-haul for quick tasks around town that require just a little extra space than what my car has. The price is always reasonable, and the vans/trucks have always been in stock.

It took much longer than we had anticipated to rent the truck. We checked in online to supposedly get a faster rental. The first two trucks they brought had no gas. Took us 1 1/2 hours. Way too long.

The rep at this location attempted to charge more than the rate that was booked on the phone with U- haul. A refund wss issued but not for the same amount of the over charge.

While the requested trailer was available at the agreed time, they workers hooked up my hitch wrong, causing the trailer to drag when loaded. This led to a delay in our departure time as we had to stop there again on our way out to have them reverse the hitch arrangement. Then, about an hour into the drive, the trailer lights were out, which we eventually determined was caused by a severed ground wire in the trailer hitch assembly. We had to splice the wire and use electrical tape in order to complete our move. NOT HAPPY.

I think that during the busy check in hours there should be more staff to get customers checked in. The line was pretty long and I had to wait about 20 minutes but the staff was great and extended my rental time to compensate for that. But it was a little frustrating when you're trying to coordiante movers.

There was only one person doing the rental paperwork...3 stations, but 1 person and when I returned the equipment just one person checking in....took much longer renting and returning than it should

The personnel at this store promised to only charge my card for one extra day rental fee at $40 total on a recorded call and then my AMEX was billed for $97.00. After driving around for almost 2 hours to find an operable location still in business, the least Uhaul could do for me was be honest.

When I went to pick up the UHaul, the guy basically mumbled, took my money, and didn't offer me any other deals. He was also unprofessional and extremely rude, to the point that I never want to rent with Haul again. Also, with that being said, I am still upset that I paid nearly DOUBLE what I should have been charged. My parents and I have used UHaul every time we have moved, and with me shipping things to another state, I'm most definitely going to be looking into my other options. I felt like I was taken advantage of, and on top of it, had the rudest costumer experience in my entire life.

Article I: I explained my situation to a customer service representative about how my car had just broken down and I needed to get back home to Omaha Nebraska we completed the paperwork without issue and I swiped my debit card and the amount estimated was 285 dollars and change. When I arrived home about 26 hours later I was returning the truck to the Millard location U-Haul and the customer service rep said right off the bat that I had to take the truck back to where I got it because they do not rent one way. I said why did they rent it to me one way to Omaha then? And he proceeds to walk away from me was very unprofessional and said I was at least going to get charged double the amount. I said if that happened I would be getting my lawyer involved and that is when he walked out the door and I followed him outside when he didn't respond to what I was asking and being extremely rude I said you have my information, and will never have me or my family's business any longer if you overcharge me for something invalid. Then I receive an email saying there is an outstanding balance of over $1000. I will have my lawyer get in contact with your company if I am not contacted about this absurdity. I was not offered a lock and didn't realize until we stopped at a hotel at 9pm that we did not have one. I have rented a Uhaul before and a lock was included. As a result we were robbed and lost over $1000 worth of our stuff!!!!

When we walked in the first guy, an older man, was very friendly and greeted us he then took us over to a younger guy with glasses to get the truck. The guy was on the phone and seemed irritated. I had booked online however for some reason it wasn't showing a truck number the younger guy then got irritated with me and said "fuck it" and did it on his side when I was just trying to make sure my card wasn't going to be charged twice. I understand everybody having a bad day but that was very unprofessional.
