The vehicle was unlocked when I arrived. There was a prescription container under the passenger seat. Otherwise the pick-up went well.

I rented a van. Was told the tank was full. Drove it a total of 7 miles, and it took 2.63 gallons of gas, to fill it up. When i complained about this, the attendant daid i would get a credit, which, by looking at my final bill, i did not. That's fraud. Why a large company like Uhaul feels the need to rip off the consumer is beyond me.

the receipt I received was incorrect in terms of mileage. I sent 2 emails with this concern and I have yet to receive a response. The location was extremely slow when I went to pick up the truck.

You guys are trying to over charge me card for an extra four days. You wont return my emails or phone calls. I will not pay for those extra days, we picked it up and dropped it off on the same day. Filled out all of the online questions to speed up contract per the online instructions. Took almost 30 minutes because the clerk behind the counter did not know what he was doing and he had to service people buying cigarettes and gas. I dropped off the van at 6pm the same evening after putting more gas in than I used. I just got my bill for two days of rental plus two gallons of gas. You guys need to do a better job than this. They can verify my claim by looking at their security footage. I put 9 miles total on the van and used it for 10 hours. The van was clean"ish". Please respond. Thanks.

Didnt have furniture pads as ordered which was annoying because we really needed them. Although he refunded us the cost we still had to run home to pick up tarps. It should be known online when we order equipment if it's available or not. Other than that the service was fine and the location convenient to us.

This was an overall bad experience, especially since I wasn't told about the $4/ gallon fee if the truck wasn't refilled. The check-in portal at this gas station wasn't working but luckily I did on my phone. The attendant couldn't answer any of my questions- like if I turned it in early would I be refunded for the time I didn't use. Since he was a gas station clerk he was working with other clients in the store too instead of completing my process.

Hey over charged me $100. We verified that the prices was around $60(after miles) and I get my billed today and it's $162. This is absurd. I feel like I just got ripped off expesially when we went over the price multiple times

When I showed up, the "safemovers" insurance had been added to my charges, even though I had specified that I didn't want it when I reserved the truck online. When I mentioned that to the guy checking me out, he said he would remove it later when processing my charges, but now I have been charged, and the insurance is still on there. That is obviously very irritating. Please remove these charges, after which I will gladly pay the bill.

The location was near me and it was simple to grab the uhaul. It is a corner gas station at a bus stop so there is a lot of foot traffic. But I had no problems.

Mostly, this location is just in a sketchy area. But the guys running the uhaul service took an absurdly long time (1 hour) to get me the keys. They didn't really communicate at all about what was going on either. The truck was in great condition. More gas efficient than I expected. The truck definitely is where the 2 stars comes from. Also, the price was much lower than expected.

I don't know exactly what the problem was with the computer, but I did everything beforehand on the internet, which would supposedly cut my time in half when getting the truck. Instead, it took about 10 times longer. Not sure where or what was the problem, but you need to fix this if you want to keep customers coming back.

This place should stop renting uhauls. I paid $40 to wait 40 minutes, stand in line twice, and have about 30 people helped before me. The cashier was clearly overwhelmed and kept telling me to "get the key online" which doesn't even make any sense. He meant to check in, but he still should have been much more helpful. When I move again and need to rent a moving van I most definitely will not come here. The van itself was okay.

I would not recommend this location. The equipment was perfect and return process went very smoothly, but obtaining the truck was terrible. I don't believe the person running the uhaul rentals here was even a uhaul employee. There was only one person running the rentals and gas station/convenience store, causing a very long line and wait time to accumulate as he was primarily servicing customers for the gas station. We weren't serviced until 40 minutes after our reservation was to begin. He then could not find our reservation and did not speak English well at all so he could not communicate why he couldn't find it, nor understand me trying to give him my confirmation number. All the while he was making and taking phone calls on his cell in a different language and navigating the uhaul site I assume. It seemed as though the person on the other line was the uhaul employee trying guide him through the process. In the end he refused to service me even with my confirmation email present. After multiple calls to Uhaul customer service confirming my reservation at the pick up location and contacting their employee there - who was not actually present at the rental station - they finally gave us a truck. Once I was home and beginning to move furniture I received multiple phone calls from this guy personally, not Uhaul, asking for my credit card info. Which I did not give out because it was within my reservation already nor did I believe the person was a Uhaul employee. However I still received multiple hounding phone calls. Upon returning the truck there was a different service man who seemed much more educated in the process and all was well. I wanted to share my experience because I am not actually sure what is going on at that location but I would never use it again.

It was hard to know the place was a U-Haul first off. We passed by it twice assuming it was only a gas station. When we went in, we waited 45 minutes (being first in line) while an issue was sorted out where the truck we'd rented ended up being checked out to someone else (thankfully another of the same vehicle was available). It took that entire time sorting out paperwork just so we could take the vehicle in the lot. It made what should be have been an easy checkout and move into something that felt like it took most of the day. The staff member did give us a discount on the rental, so that was appreciated, and he was very apologetic.

I rented equipment through the uhaul website and when I went to pick-up the equipment they were out but I was still charged for the equipment. Also, very slow service even though I did the express check-in online beforehand.
