Eliminate Self Serve rental sites. Way too complicated. All the photos should be taken by U-Haul employees or agents. Pickup was strange. All I had was an email. Worker at site had to call someone to find out how to get the keys. Once I had the truck, it went well. I downloaded the app later that day and got more confused. Drop off took almost a half hour due to all the questions and photos required. Please simplify and have employees or agents who are trained.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI was there but my granddaughter said the return went well
FRANK HWhen I opened the back of the truck there were moving blankets thrown all over towards the front of the truck. Now this was my first time getting a U-Haul but I did not order any moving blankets. I was confused but when I went to return the truck it asked if I broke the green seal on the moving blanket box. I was also prompted to take a picture of the inside of the truck bed/box when I was returning the truck. Why was I not prompted to take a picture of the inside of the truck box when I picked it up? Through the site I went, there is some dishonesty going on. There were moving blankets all over and I was not informed about any moving blankets that were suppose to be n the truck. A lack of transparency.
Bracken MScheduled to pick up at 10:00am. No one was there. Building was locked. Ran into a worker in a nearby building and he told me they went to “lunch” at 10:00am. Luckily after 10 minutes he was able to help me.
