When returning my trailer, I had to stand in line to just return it and they never came out to look at it and just typed a few things in the computer and said I was good to go. They should just have someone dedicated to returns and then go back to pickups when there are no returns.

My complaints are: 1) The 6 x12 trailer I reserved was discovered to not be working (lights were not working). This wasn't known until just before I arrived to pick up the trailer. 2) As a result, my pickup location was changed to a different one a long distance away, at the last minute. I was not notified of this until I had already arrived at the original pickup location. 3) Luckily there was a smaller trailer available at the original location (5 x 8), It was too small for my needs, but I took it since I did not have enough to go to a different pickup location. 4) The 5 x 8 trailer I rented had major damage to one of the tires - a large section of tread was missing, and more tread was loose. Unfortunately I didn't see this until I was at my loading location, and had to call roadside assistance. This should have been seen and corrected at this pickup location, before this trailer was rented out to a customer. I will state that the personnel at this pickup location were helpful in cancelling my original contract and creating a new one for this pickup location.

Customer service at this location was top notch. The online reservation process with UHaul itself had been a stressful mess that sent me to a series of abandoned warehouses telling me that was where I could pick up my truck. Which suddenly was changed to this location in Elk Grove. I was initially very upset that I had to go so much farther for my truck and was worried I would be charged extra for the extra miles I had not anticipated in needing to drive from Sacramento to Elk Grove for the pick up. I was so incredibly thankful for how nicely I was treated once I arrived. I was taken care of way beyond what I had expected and was nearly in tears with how quickly and easily the stress was handled by the lovely lady who helped me. I didn't even have to ask, she just made things right. That is high quality customer service at its best. Thank you!

Definitely the wait time. There has to be more people there or you have to open earlier. I checked my rental truck at 8:45 a.m. but the clerk charged me for the 15 minutes of waiting. I didn't think that was fair because I had to rush to get it back before the first hour.

89 cents a mile is a bit much Itwould have been a lot better to have paid 35.00 for the day and 100.00 free miles an than 89 cents a mile. I'm just saying. Now I will look up other companies n compare rates:

Everything was SO easy with S&J Moving Supplies! I made the reservation online, the paperwork in the office (all done on the computer) was truly quick and easy, they connected the trailer I had rented to the tow hitch and lights on my SUV and made sure that everything was safe and working properly. Could not see out of the window since so bug encrusted. No fault of this location, my reservation was made in advance for a location 30 miles away. I flew across country to move my ailing father. I did not have a car to get to location and had planned on walking to original location which was 3 miles from where my father lives. I was flying when messages sent that I was going to need to pick up vehicle in different location. I received 3 separate text messages with different locations on where to pick up vehicle- all location over 30 miles away. I had to arrange for transportation to site when on very tight deadline. I understand that your office may not know where trucks may be but I do anticipate with over a weeks notice that you will be able to have a truck delivered to location specified on reservation.

Hello, I picked up your truck from the Walnut Creek location on Sunday, the associates at the location informed me that I would be able to drop off the truck using the UHAUL online set drop off and I made it clear to them that I would drop it off late at night Sunday evening in Elk Grove, Ca because I have to be at work early in the morning on Monday. They said it's not a problem, it's easy and you drop it off using the website/platform for uhaul or any uhaul after hours drop off location with a drop box. It was Sunday evening around approx 10 PM and I went to the nearest uhaul location -so I don't go over my miles. The first location didn't even exist- 9584 E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove. I drove around several times and this location didn't even exist. So I pulled up a second location for uhaul- 10391 E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, this place didn't exist AGAIN! I pulled up another uhaul location-8680 W Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, this place was closed with a gate where and had a sign that stated no night drop off. I put in another address-6425 Stockton Blvd and started calling the UHAUL customer service number and got a lady on the phone telling me there's no way of dropping off the vehicle after hours because the truck has to be dropped off at a particular location and that location will be open at 8am. I told the lady that I was told I can drop off the truck using the app which advertises after hour easy drop off and when I logged into my account it also stated that I can drop off the vehicle at 2220 Kaiden Dr, Elk Grove and as long as I'm not blocking any vehicles and parking the truck on the lot and taking pictures I would be good. The lady stated the website is wrong there's no such thing. I asked for a supervisor and I was put on hold for 15 mins and a guy by the name of Cody picked up, he wouldn't give me his last name. He said the same thing to me. My point is, that your company is also advertising that you can use your website or platform to drop off vehicles after hours where none of the locations have after hour drop offs and have gated lots. Another thing, how is the customer supposed to know the truck is supposed to be dropped off at one particular location after the fact that the truck was picked up and told to drop it off at any location and also the app states the same but no after hour location was accessible. I spent 3 hours driving around and on the phone figuring out what to do because I had a 2 hr drive back home and then to work in San Francisco. 1-there's a breach of contract 2-false advertisement 3-employees are promoting what's on your website but it is not available I had to stay awake all night and not go to work and make sure the truck was returned the following day. This is unacceptable. I would like someone to contact me ASAP. You guys cost me extra money in gas driving round Elk Grove And Sacramento looking for an after hours location, you guys cost me a whole day of work, and I had to stay in

I was supposed to pick up my truck in Davis, which is a 30 mile drive from Elk Grove. The day before pickup I was told I could drive to Elk Grove or wait 8 hours after my scheduled pickup time for a truck. As compensation they gave me 20 free miles, which doesn’t even cover the drive to Davis from Elk Grove. The entire thing was a pain and very unprofessional.

This was not the spot I was supposed to pick up. I made a reservation to pick up on cirby in Roseville at 10 to find out they didn't have a truck for me. Then got a reservation for here and the guy told me that my reservation wasn't for there either luckily he had a truck for me to use. This was the worst moving experience ever. It was so stressful not knowing if I was going to have a truck after reserving one the day before.

When I got there at 4:30 instead of 4 they told me they were closed (sign says 5) but because I had a reservation they'd help me, the man mentioned to charge me $25 for being late. The next day, due to traffic, I was unable to return the trailer by 5 but had it there before they opened the next day, they had another customer picking it up that morning. Man said I was all set... did not tell me he was charging me an extra day. So because they have shorter hours than other Uhaul locations and you cannot drop off after hours they got 3 days rental in a 48 hour period. Very unethical. I've used the Galt and Lodi uhaul locations and never experienced poor service like this location. I will never use this location again ever though it is closer to my new home. Poor equipment rating due to lack of tiedowns, broken license plate light.

The person working at the S&J Moving Supplies had very poor customer service. He was being rude and uncomfortable to talk to. He charged me twice because he thought that it was going to be a local rental but I told him I had to drop the truck in Brentwood. He said he did a refund but I haven't gotten a refund and it has been over 5 days since I rented that truck. I hope I get my refund.

I was charged for another day when I had already returned the trailer. I was told by Stephen to just drop it along the fence and they would check it in as returned and told me I didn't need to stand inline. I asked the attendant who took the trailer for his name and he was very rude told me "My name is Uhaul attendant." I received the invoice and they charged me another day which I didn't have. I tried calling several times to get my money returned and no answer fax machine only. The email on the uhaul contract invoice is invalid. I am still trying to get my money back. Very displeased and I will be contacting Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint.

The worker immediately greeted me and though there were five people ahead of me, he said I can leave the key and he would take care of the rest. Much friendlier experience.
