The guy working the transaction did not know what he was doing. The trailer was parked on a hill and I had to load it by myself. The attendant was by himself and would not go outside of the store. It was dangerous loading on an incline by myself The place I was sent to to pick up the trailer was not where I had requested. I had specifically requested pick up at the u haul store.

Online ordering. When I ordered online it confirmed and gave me the price for my order of a truck and equipment. When picking up they didn't have the equipment. They said it was because I didn't order it but I had the confirmation email to prove it. After 20 minutes talking to customer service nothing was resolved and my time was wasted it not only that call but having to track down the equipment myself.

My original pick up location was closed, so I was rebooked and notified 24 hours before pick up of new location. New location had no internet so it took over 30 minutes for paperwork. No one there to assist with hook up and/or safety. Had to pay for wire harness adapter after I had given proper wire harness information on the website.

(Male) Owner is not friendly...would not help me unhook trailer because he didnt have enough staff...wanted me to bring it back later, luckily a uhaul manager showed up and helped. Also, the trailer I reserved was not available when I picked up (was not notified), owner told me to drive to springdale and he couldnt help me, called customer service and they arranged for an alternate trailer immediately from his location.

When I arrived at the gas station to pick up the trailer, the owner stated that her computer was down. That took about 45 minutes to resolve. Then when all the paperwork was completed, and I was ready to go hook up the trailer, I asked for assistance with hooking up the trailer to my truck, the owner told me that they do not do that, and I was responsible for hooking it up on my own. That was frustrating because I was alone, and needed assistance with lining up the hitch, and lifting the trailer onto the hitch. This took me an additional 30 minutes to do.

Easy process, nice people. Only suggestion is that it would be nice if they could walk you out to the vehicle and tell you a few things about the truck before you have to get in and drive it on your own. Yet I realize that may be hard to do when there is only one person at the station. One suggestion for UHaul corporate: have people return the truck full rather than having to estimate how much gas to put into match the fraction of a tank that had been marked

The truck pick up was fine but the customer service of the U-Haul is TERRIBLE!!!! First, I called to get a truck quote and then I called competitive companies and got much cheaper quotes so when I called back to cancel the truck U-Haul matched which was good except why wouldn't you offer the best deal upfront? Then I booked a storage unit. I specifically asked for a first/ground level 10x10 climate control unit in the Memphis area and the person booked me a split level which is a walk-up! I was quoted a rate of 79.99, first month free due to truck rental 1-way. I then spent nearly 2 hours on the phone with U-Haul to find a solution and finally booked a unit for 10.00 more. NOT A HAPPY RENTER!!!!

I was told by the district coordinator that the associate would be able to help me hook up the car transport. He said he couldn't help me and didn't know how. Nor did he know how to take insurance off I didn't ask for or print me a receipt. I will look into using Penske next time.
