The trailer (6x12) we got for a 1000 mile move had a bad wheel bearing. Unfortunately we didn't find this out until we had it loaded. We had to take it back and swich it out. The did let us unload and reload on site. I think its harder for neighborhood dealers to deal with maintenance issues. The personnel were very nice and helpful and did what the could.

Amber and Alex went above and beyond. I spoke with Amber many times prior to returning the truck and was very understanding about my apartment not being ready for my move-in date and worked with me to keep the truck additional days. The kindness and awesome custormer service eased a lot of my stress and for that I am grateful and appreciative for their assistance.

There was miscommunication about timing of returning the uhaul & we paid the extra day. The lady at the desk was rude about it even though she is the one when my husband said he would return before open Wed 7/5 she said we had it until 5:30. The tire was having trouble holding air & he had to continue to watch & air up & that is why he was later. The lady at the desk told him they normally call the law when late instead of accepting explanation & said she called us & we hung up. I noticed on the contract she has our old AL # instead of the # she asked me for & wrote down on 7/01 when we picked up. I showed 2 different amounts at first 154.08 7/01 Ref # 718214211628 & 192.60 7/05 Ref # 718614716218 with emails & my online banking. I called the lady back & she was rude again & said she could not answer any of my questions that she was just a dealer. I understand that part but the other part of conversation was handled improperly. She told me that had never happened before & I would need to contact uhaul & show proof with bank statements (which I understand) but then stated IF I was telling the truth & I explained that I had two different email reference #'s & as of yesterday with 2 different amounts & dates coming out of my account & that is why I was concerned. I did get online & see that the amount dropped off 154.08 7/01 & I appreciate that being corrected so swiftly. I was sorry about the miscommunication & happy to pay the extra day. I understand there was a mix up with our phone number even though I told her the # in the system was wrong & gave new #. My problem was with the very poor unprofessional service & lack of recognizing her part in the mix up. We used uhaul when we moved to MO from AL & was very pleased 4 1/2 yrs ago but that location was closed. This location we used at Mall Dr to move back from MO to AL I would not recommend. I did want to say when we arrived in town we first went to the location on Florence Blvd. & Andrea helped us & did a wonderful job. She did not have a big enough uhaul & it was time for her to close but she got on her computer & located one at Mall Dr & made the reservation. She did an excellent job & had no part with the above comments & what would transpire with our interaction with the young lady at Mall Dr who did not ever give her name so I can only refer to her as young lady. I requested to pick up near my home address in Winfield at 7am. I had to drive 90 miles out of my way to pick up, couldn't pick up until 2pm and then drive 90 miles back to begin moving. I lost a whole day moving. Then I was promised a 52 dollar credit that I didn't get and I was t paid for the extra fuel I put in at Burnsville like I was told I would be. I have uhaul 1/4 tank of gas. The Burnsville Uhaul place treated me like I was an idiot for requesting the overage that the uhaul lady I spoke with on the phone promised me. I finglaly paid the overages they charged me for all the extra miles and left so I didn't lose another half day of my time. It was a total clusterfuck.

"Hun, I just ain't got no room for that one at the this time. You'll have to take it somewhere else" I had just driven 13 hours and unloaded the entire trailer. This was the first thing she said to me when I walked in. I was in a new town and no idea where another uhaul center was. This was the store Uhaul had TOLD ME to drop it off at. So while my hungry 9 month old and wife were at the house waiting on me to get back, I was trying to find a uhaul facility that was open in Florence, Al on a Sunday morning. I just moved one room of my house this week. I was planning on using Uhaul for my whole house next month, and have been fan in the past.

I keep renting 5x8 trailers and usually end up with the older, worn looking ones with the roll up doors. A few times I have been lucky enough to get one of the newer versions with double opening doors and immaculate appearance. I wish more of those would be available more often.

The customer service was amazing ! Very professional and efficient. The trailer I rented had a leak in the silicone where the metal meets in the roof but thankfully the front desk kindly suggested the insurance for the trailor. Thank God they were very thorough and made my experience great and gladly helped me with my insurance claim. I will be a repeat customer with them and refer them to my friends and family. Thanks again for the very friendly and professional service!

It's not the location's fault at all, but our trailer had a bad leak and ruined one of my guitar amps. I know there is a sticker inside the trailer that states that it is "water resistant" not "water proof," but this was a little excessive. All of my music equipment was wet, but luckily (still sadly) my amp was the only thing that got totally ruined. $400 down the drain, thanks to a leaky trailer.
