I would like to be sent to someone who knows what they are doing. The person we were sent to wasn’t professional and she told us that she doesn’t run the company and her mom does but her mom was sent to prison. She didn’t know how to help us at all and we weren’t even sure if she would make sure the U Haul was checked to be dropped off. The service was really bad and I would never do it again. Our moving experience was horrible due to our service with U Haul.

I would have rated the overall review of this location two-stars had it not been for the efforts of Anthony. I later found out that this is a brand-spanking new, franchised location and that I was the second customer this location ever had...so they are obviously still learning as they go. However, it is very evident that they still have a ways to go to smooth out their process and improve their communication. This location is in a very obscure area and signage is at a minimum. Upon arriving at 8:50am for my 9:00am reservation (which I already checked in online), the doors were locked to the office and no one was physically there to greet me, let-alone get me keys to the vehicle and inspect/confirm mileage or damage. After calling the number on the door, I was told by the woman on the line (Krystal - presumably the owner?) that the keys to the van were in a locked code box near the front door and that she was sending someone to come unlock the box and would "call me right back." 10 minutes later, I received a call back from her with another phone number and to call a separate individual for further instruction. After getting on the phone with Anthony, he presumed to walk me through what seemed like a reservation for the truck (which I had already confirmed and checked in with online 2 days prior.) After 10 minutes on the line with him I was finally given access to the locked box for keys to the truck, only to realize that the vehicle had only been returned by the previous customer on 'E' which meant that I had to immediately pay for gas just to get it up to a 1/4 a tank. When I arrived at my apartment to prepare for the move, I opened the trailer, only to realize that the dollies and furniture pads that I reserved, were not present. After another phone call to Anthony, I was instructed to go to my closest Uhaul center to pick up the dollies (which added another 30 minute delay to my moving time on top of the initial 20 minute delay to pick up the truck and 6 additional miles to the truck.) Upon returning the truck, I was given a receipt for 153 miles for an actual 70 mile roundtrip usage. [This was later corrected by Anthony]) I will absolutely commend Anthony for going above and beyond to address and correct all of my hiccups and inconveniences for this rental experience. In addition to correcting the financial/mileage mistakes and fuel reimbursement for me having to fill up on the initial pickup, he also reimbursed me additionally for the overall inconvenience and seems to truly understand customer service. Again, I understand that this is a new location, but much of my negative experience could have been avoided simply by having someone physically at the property before I arrived to make sure that every component of my reservation was ready to go including: mileage confirmation, equipment and fuel. I believe this location will be able to use the lessons learned from my experience to better the next customer. I will say that throughout
