MELISSA A10 seconds after we left the windshield wiper stopped working. It was snowing really bad....
SCOTT FI had a very difficult time with the arrival/check-in process, and multiple other small things caused me more frustration than I thought this reservation was worth. 1. I followed all the instructions for turning on my location services, and it took at least 10–15 minutes before it recognized my location. I thought it might’ve been an issue with the web browser, so I downloaded the app but still had the same problems until it suddenly was working. 2. Taking and uploading pictures of the vehicle took much longer than I thought it should. For the first attempt to upload a picture, it buffered for 20–30 seconds before rejecting the attempt. I eventually gave up and only submitted half the requested photos before leaving the site. 3. None of the additional equipment I reserved came with the vehicle. This was an after-hours reservation, so we then had to take extra time—of which we had none to spare—to return to our home and scrounge up any equipment we had that might work. I asked for a half-dozen furniture pads and a dolly, and the truck bed was completely empty. When the return process asked if all the needed equipment was included and I selected “no,” I was still charged for it. 4. The gas tank wasn’t full when we picked up the vehicle, so we had to monitor the gas gauge when refueling in order to bring it back to approximately where it was before. It would be much kinder to keep the tank filled between customers. 5. We hadn’t yet put our snow brush in our personal vehicle this season, so we had to take extra time to retrieve one from a different location and clean off the vehicle. Including a snow brush and ice scraper in each vehicle would be another kindness to customers during the winter months where snow and ice are common. I was already on a tight time schedule, so the issues above caused unnecessary stress. Otherwise, the truck handled well, and we did complete our furniture moving task.
