Get rid of the "drop-off number" and Rhonda in traffic, who tried to force us to return your equipment to a town other than the one specified on our Signed contract. All other persons dealt with were professional and the caliber I've come to expect over the last 30+ years of doing business with U-Haul. Having dealt with Rhonda will make me think twice about using U-Haul the next time the need arises.

With my reservation I had grass Valley location for drop off somewhere along the way I was instructed I was going to need to go to Auburn California for drop off which would've been an 80 mile round trip one way which I would've had to do twice that was totally unacceptable it took me hours of frustration to get it squared away I'm not happy about that

When I tried to speak to this office about the drop off issue they did nothing to help me and even tried to over charge me by trying to charge me an extra day charge even though I dropped it off in time. The employee initially said he was charging me the extra day because I wasn't dropping it off where I was told to. An extra day charge has nothing to do with where I drop it off. In one transaction UHaul tried to connive money out of me twice.

Improve the express registration. It is not user friendly. It didn't really save me much time and I ended up getting insurance which I didn't want. I was in a hurry and did not want to go over the entire registration process again at the rental office.

It is difficult to determine how much gas is to be replenished so that it matches the quantity that I left the yard with. With today's technology maybe a gauge giving gallons consumed would be appropriate?

No way to transport me back to the rental site, where I picked up the rental vehicle, to pick up my personal vehicle. Was basically told I was in the wrong and should have known to make arrangements

My only complaint is about the expense. The logistics could not have been easier, motley thd people friendlier. But the move was very expensive, especially after the cost of gas. If there had been an alternative at my pickup location, I would have used it.

Had problems towing a trailer, truck got a flat tire (tread came off tire) and I was stuck for hours. When I called to let uhaul know that the truck had been dropped off the night before I was treated badly, made fun of and person was sarcastic, and refused to look and make sure truck was back and checked in,

I'm not exaggerating when I say six moths flew out of various crevices in the drivers compartment during the few hours that I had this uhall in my possession, two of which did so while I was driving on the freeway! This was very bothersome. The one good thing I will say is the staff was very professional and helpful.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with UHaul! I will not be using UHaul again. I had a reservation two weeks ahead of time for a 26 foot truck and I was told two days ahead of my reservation that I was going to have to drive 90 minutes out of my way to get the truck. I was only supposed to go 10 minutes. I went to pick up the 20 foot truck at 8:00, the place was closed. I called UHaul after waiting 15 minutes and I was told it was going to be another 15 minutes before the person would arrive to rent me the truck. I then rented from Sierra Rentals and they did a great job!!

The place has a good selection of equipment. My disappointments were that the truck didn't come with a full tank to start with and the windows were dirty enough to be a hazard facing into the sun. I don't know if UHauls policies have changed but I remember when windows used to be freshly cleaned and fuel tanks were full.

Brakes faded badly on pickup when coming down Donner Summit towing a auto transport. Pickup was in the "tow" mode. Not sure if the trailer brakes were working.

Everything was great, except the bed of the pickup truck still had a lot of small pieces of dirt and rock. I came a day earlier than my reservation, so there may have not been enough time to clean the truck. Or maybe that comes with the territory when renting a pickup.

However overall horrible experience. On 4//7 I called and made a reservation for a 10' truck. Pick up and return at Main St. Grass Valley(GV),CA on 4/9/17. 4/8 Gina from Sacramento Corp. called to tell me no 10' within 20 miles. Only 15' for much more $$. I asked for 15' at the 10' rate that I had reserved (and budget for). She said no. She said she could give me a deal on 15' if I picked up in Auburn and dropped off in GV. I explained that did not make sense because I live in Auburn and how would I get home? She said, "take an uber." I explained that would cost me even more. She said that was her only deal. I asked to speak with manager she laughed and said she was the manager. I asked for her full name and said I was going to report this to the State Dept. of Justice. She laughed. I could hear co-workers in background laughing too.when I asked about that and told her how horrible it was she was laughing at me she just laughed again and asked if I was going to take the deal she was offering or not. I said I have to drop off and pick up in GV. She then said she was going to up-grade me. I then called the 1800 number and spoke with a nice gal who could not help me and transferred me to "traffic" where I spoke with a nice gal who also could not help me, but did offer a $25 discount coupon. She told me there were no 10' within 20 miles, so I reluctantly downgraded from the 15' to the cargo van. 4/9 I went to the Main St. GV pick up to pick up the cargo van and saw several 10' trucks. I told the nice man my story and asked if I could rent one of the 10' and he said sure! So ultimately, after all that horrible stress and experience, I was given a 10'truck, but no $25 coupon. I have rented from uhaul and from that location many times without negative incident. Gina has made me hope I never have to rent from uhaul ever again. I have told my story to my family and friends, who were appalled, and also said they hope to never rent from uhaul. They also said they would spread the word about uhaul and how horrible uhaul treats people. Gina has ruined your reputation. Sincerely, Elizabeth Fitzgerald

Your policy of not being able to promise the customer the drop off location for a one way needs to be improved. I received a tex shortly after picking up the trailer in Dublin, CA that I was now to return the trailer to Lincoln, CA. I was told on the original contract that I could return the trailer to Grass Valley, CA my home town. All employees of your locations were very helpful but your corporate people @ uhaul.com need some training in customer service. Absolutely no help at all and rude. The manager of the Grass Valley, CA store Garrett Pearson went over and above the call of his position. He was able to finally convince the upper personnel that the trailer could be dropped at his location. I have spent several hundred dollars in the last two months emptying my parents home due to a death and serious illness. It was very disheartening to be treated so cold by corporate people yet all your employees at the locations was very helpful and kind in this difficult situation. Somehow you need to figure a better way of keeping track of one way drop offs. Please once again I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the way Garrett Pearson handled this situation.
