I am beyond disappointed and if I could get a refund then I absolutely would. Not only was I charged $160 to use a U-Haul from Friday July 10th at 9am to Saturday July 11th at 4:15pm. They also charged me an additional $51.70 for 9 gallons of gas. That is $5.67 per gallon that is absolutely ridiculous. I was not made aware that we needed to fill the U-Haul before returning it. We didn’t go over in mileage, we drove 125 miles and were charged an additional amount for gas. If I would’ve been made aware of this, I would’ve put gas in it myself but I was not made aware. I am very upset and I will never be renting a u-haul again. -10/10 experience I couldn’t be more disappointed.
LISA POnly dropped off during open hours once. The lady working was friendly & helpful with my return.
Darren MCould not get me registered or print contract. The truck had not been cleaned. The person who was trying to check me in mentioned it and said they would take care of it but I’d have to wait. When they couldn’t get me into the system they went out to talk to the “area manager” who did not come I. To help for 20 minutes and when I questioned it he proceeded to fire off… “ how about if I just refuse you service and not rent to you”. 40 years in the customer service field and never seen anyone so driven by their ego. Usually my experience has been great with most U-Haul locations but this place was ridiculous.
Gary MThis location was not open at the time of my scheduled drop-off, but they do have a key drop box conviently placed at the entrance of the store. Simple process.
