Our move was starting from versailles we were unhappy we had to pick up in Greendale not even close to our move start.

I have rented a U-Haul 3 out of the last 4 weekends. Two of those 3 time there were significant mistakes made. The second time we rented the truck was covered in sticky pop and greasy finger prints. The gas level in the truck didn’t match what the computer showed, and the miles were also off by about 60. When my husband went to pick the truck up Stephanie said the reservation was done incorrectly, so she canceled it and did it all over. In fact it had been done correctly and had to be redone back to the the right way by the cashier when we returned it. Today things were so messed up with our charges that we have to call back Monday to get them figured out. I still have 2 more reservations coming up, and I really hope we get someone who is familiar with the process, so we don’t have to waste more time straightening out errors. I could have marked both yes and no on helpful personnel. The personnel was helpful on Sept 30 while she was correcting the other persons’s mistakes, but the others making the mistakes were not.

The 20' truck was hard to drive. Needs a front end alignment in a bad way.The rolling back door stuck open on us and wouldn't shut. On top of this the so called manager accused me of causing a bent bumper that was there when I picked it up. Charged me $468 to replace a bumper!! I am contesting this. Very bad customer service.

The people at the U-Haul in Greendale were not very friendly at all they act like it was an inconvenient for me to drop it off there in act like they were upset because I did not unhook the car hauler from the truck which I did not know I was supposed to do they did nothing to try to help me resolve the problem I have my personal belongings getting damaged because the truck itself leaks

They tried over charging me saying I had the trailer for 2 days. The red headed guy I got it from said I had to bring it back by 9am even though I brought it back at 11 at night and I was still overcharged. Wont recommend to anyone for this location till the figure out how to properly run it. Also took me over an hour to rent it

This was not our original pick up location. When we arrived at our original pick up location scheduled through uhaul.com, there was no 26 ft. truck for us to pick up. We frantically made multiple phone calls to try and find a truck as we had movers scheduled to be at our house to load it! Eventually, a very sympathetic customer service agent found us another truck, but it was another 20 miles away. By the time we drove put there, picked up the truck and drove back home, we were way behind. Uhaul did give us a $50 refund as per their guarantee, but honestly with the stress that was caused by the need to scramble to find another truck, then drive there and needing to try to change our reservation times with two different sets of movers, I am not sure that fifty bucks off makes up for it. We have used uhaul several times in the past but today left an impression, particularly for the online reservation system. I do want to say that the woman who was working at the Kennett Truck Stop location was wonderful and went out of her way to help us after she heard what we had been through. She and the gentleman who helped me on the phone this morning were awesome!

There was food in the cab of the truck when I picked it up. There was also food and garbage in the back of the truck as well. The customer service or lack there of will make it so I will recommend to others that are moving in my area to find another location to get a truck from. $100 spent on a truck to be harassed when dropping off the truck because there was pizza in the truck. (The same pizza that was in the truck when I walked out to get in the truck when I picked it up in the morning.) it was super frustrating to stand around for ten minutes while the attendant cleaned the truck after we used it when it obviously wasn’t cleaned before I got it.

The person at the counter did not honor the pricing I got online when I booked the trailer a week before so I had to pay more (also the person before me had a coupon that was Not honored), also gave me a different drop off location than what I had selected online. It seems to be like she just did a brand new reservation and didn’t look at what I had selected online at all because I also had to mention to her I ordered a 2 wheel dolly. When I went to hook up the trailer the chains were on the ground along with the trailer harness, it had rained the night before so they had dirt. Once I took the trailer home I had to sweep it because it has sand on the floorboard. I did like the newer LED style rear lights, they were bright. I only recommend this location because it usually has a good inventory.

The lady seemed more concerned with customers that werent UHAUL. Did not give me a inspection sheet. I was more or less worried if something was not completed fully on her end by as i was pulling out.

This was no the original location that I picked when I reserved. I found out that we had to pick up at this location through a text I received.

The pick up place handled 15-20 Restuarant and gas station customers while I just waited. Once I was loaded into the Uhaul computer, the counter clerk told me they would not hook up my trailer. She said, “ go out and do it yourself...she doesn’t do it.” I had never used a trailer, so did not know how to properly hitch it. I then had to beg for someone to help. Fortunately a man helped. Very poor service, let alone potential liability. Very poor site.

I reserved a 6x10 enclosed trailer online and when I arrived they did not have one on the premises. We contacted U-Haul on the phone and the whole reservation was messed up. They had me picking the trailer up near my home in Florida. I was up there to move my mother into an assisted living facility. It took almost an hour to get everything fixed but I was then running behind in my time frame. Luckily I was able to squeeze everything into the smaller trailer (5x8) but I'm really disappointed about the whole experience.

The start up of renting a Uhaul was terrible. My pick up location was changed to a place 30 miles out of my way. When I called to see about working it out the CR was rude and had no desire to be helpful. He finally gave me a different number to call, that went much better! When I went to pick up the Uhaul a week later they did not have the equipment I reserved. It took 3 people to finally remove it from my bill. When I dropped it off at the end of the day the employee that checked the truck in was really great! He was a joy to deal with, we cracked jokes and he made sure my bill was accurate. I have trouble saying I would use Uhaul in the future because of the way it started.
