I would recommend yankee self storage to rent a uhaul from. I was able to get everything moved in one shot and the customer service is top notch. I will definitely use this place again if I move in the future.

The truck bed was sandy with debris which I had to clean out before use. The tank, which is supposed to be 3/4 full was less than 3/8.

This location was perfect. HOWEVER, I was booked at another location to which I went to pick up and had to be sent to this place. UHaul sucks not to have sent me notice and to continually change pick up and drop off locations.

When equip. is ordered in advance make sure you will have it when customer arrives. Don't tell them upon arrival " we don't have the equip. you ordered". Especially when customer called three days in advance to be sure you will have what was needed after making the reservation a week in advance! Pretty poor customer service!

I don't have a problem with the "Yankee Self Storage", I have a problem with "UHaul". I could not rent a truck from any of the 3 rental locations in Greenfield, MA, the next town east from my residence without signing up with your online website. I am apparently one of the few Americans who own a smart phone, so trying to rent from your "24/7" app for a Sunday move when the businesses are closed, was impossible. Jessica at the "Yankee Self Storage" was kind enough to let me take the truck key on Saturday morning & move the truck to my residence late Saturday afternoon at my convenience for the Sunday move. Every time one of the companies had a truck scheduled in & notified me by email or phone message, by the time that I called back the truck was already reserved & gone, apparently by the online signups. I was ready to change companies when Jessica notified me that a truck that I was interested in was in inventory. I responded as quickly as I could & lucked out. It was a very frustrating venture for me, almost 70 years old with no smart phone. I don't claim to know how you would fix this scenario with someone like me that is not "connected". Our experience with uhaul today was the worst experience we've ever had with uhaul and will never rent from uhaul ever again and I will be spreading the word about your rental location on social media. The "person in charge at that location" was over 15 min late opening the store and came in smelling like an ashtray. Then after waiting for her to get all set up, she discovered the van at that location was being serviced so we had to go to a different location to pick the van up. Our pick up time was 8:30 and we didn't get our van until after 9:00, which screwed up our schedule. Maybe I'm wrong, but as a manager or "person in charge of that store" should set a better example to other employees by showing up before the store opens so that the doors could open when the opening time is posted right on the store hours sign. All she could say was, "Sorry, things happen." REALLY!!! Oh and the van was gross and smelled like an ashtray as well.

Vehicle was overdue for an oil change and was low on washer fluid, otherwise - nice van, perfect for my needs. I would like extend a big thank you to the counter person who handled the rental process - she was personable and professional and obviously knew what she was doing - I was in and out of the store quicker than any other rental experience I have ever had - 100% A+!!!

The radio was terrible. I was not able to hear any station for more than 15-20 minutes that I can typically hear in my own vehicles. The sound itself was not bad considering the acoustics in a cargo van.

It was a new Van. Which was wonderful it had 114 miles on it. the only problem is it was covered with mud on the inside of the Van, and in the Cargo area.... Tons of Dirt inside the Van, Mud on the inside of the side doors. We did not do this, It was like that when we took it... and I sent it back to Yankee in the same condition we got it. Dirty/Sandy

It was very short notice, so they get big props for being so helpful. The woman was very pleasant. The Transit said it "needs an oil change" and I said it could use a wash, but other than that it ran great and I enjoyed driving it. I'd go there again in a heartbeat!

I reserved a 17' truck fro. BILL'S AND HAD TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO ANOTHER LOCATION TO GET A 15' TRUCK AND HAD TO DRIVE FIRTHER and got no compensation for my inconvenience. Not happy with uhaul at all.

Disappointed with the reservation system. Booked a van for pick-up at one location. had to drive 20 minutes further to pick-up from a different location, then had a drive to a 3rd location to actually get the truck. With today's technology, you should be able to improve on this situation.
