I rented a storage locker and when I opened it, it still had garbage inside as well the parking area outside of the storage container was littered with garbage/ stuff people left behind. It made parking the rented truck as well as unloading/ reloading 2 weeks later very difficult to do. Yes its covid pandemic but its no reason for that type of service. I will never use uhaul again ever. As well I wasctild that if I didn't need the storage locker for the full month then it would be prorated and I'd get $ back. When I inquired about it I was told no, its paid for we don't give $$ back.
i booked a trailer to be picked up west of Ottawa. However, I got a call the next day informing me the trailer was not actually available and I had to find another. The Uhaul on the phone for the different regions of Ontario trying to find me a trailer were rude and impatient. I was told on the phone the price would be $90 and then paid $145 when I arrived for pickup. I will look for other vendors to rent a trailer next times

Picked up the truck with under 1/4 tank this is unacceptable in your contract yet as a customer i received this. I had to go put fuel in before I could go and due to this put in more then I needed by far.
The customer sales representatives (two individuals; one at time of pick up and one at time of drop off) were not great. When we arrived to collect the rental vehicle they seemed disinterested and bored. They weren't helpful and when they did explain some of your policies, they said it in such as a way as though we were not intelligent. They explained things begrudgingly, let's say. The representative we met with at the time of return was worse. They weren't even at the counter when we arrived and then we waited for several minutes for them to come from some back area. Once they met us at the counter they asked where the vehicle was, and if we wanted our receipt by email. Seemed convenient enough except that the receipt showed incorrect information and we needed it amended. To do that, however, the rep said they would have to inspect it now (instead of tomorrow was the implication) and manually enter the changes to the receipt. We required an accurate receipt because we were submitting for reimbursement the cost of the moving truck fees. The rep, clearly angered, called the shop worker to immediately take in our returned rental van. They told them to postpone what they were working on and do the vehicle return for us â€œbecause this guy needs something on the receiptâ€. They walked out from behind the counter and went to the front door to hand off the keys leaving us to wait. When returned, the rep rudely asked â€œwhat does it need to say on the receiptâ€. The entire experience was uncomfortable, rude, and unnecessary really. It was a simple request that should have had been met with a simple response. The customer service was clearly lacking. And after a long day of moving furniture, who wants to be treated so terrible when they are there to return their framing moving vehicle rental?
Change nothing. I've never had a bad experience with this location.
The van was very dirty. Could hardly see out the windows. I chalked this up to the pandemic and social distancing. Not a big deal to me. I did have to stop at a gas station to use the window cleaner. Customer service was great. The store was clean and organized.
Car had some bad smell. But rest of the service was wonderful
I went there, and second time this young girl had attitude, first time she was really rude, next time a attitude, and then I go up to the counter, and another guy behind the counter being all snarky with a black guy that's asking about his bill, someone needs to talk to them there and get thier customer service skills up to par, cause that will make people avoid dealing with that location, should be business and seems like thier taking it personal or bringing thier own issues into the worksite, to bad cause I've been there alot of times, and the past 2 visits, wasnt a good experience,, customer service gets worse and worse as time goes on, and it's sad because the big bosses let it happen, I run a roofing company and if my guys act like Jack asses to the customers or Big bosses on the construstion sites I either have a talk with them, straighten it out or send them home.
Staff great truck was excellent I think price for mileage was quite high and I think long distance should be adjusted per kilometer.
Although I couldn't have identified the physical state of the trailer anyways (it was covered in snow and the surface was not visible), I didn't see the text requesting this report until long after the link had expired. It would have been helpful if the staff had mentioned that the text would be coming and to look out for it.
I really had a great experience with this location. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I had to contact the location five times throughout the whole process and every interaction was extremely helpful and pleasant. Honestly both my partner and I were so impressed with the entire experience. Keep up the great work!

Got a bogus charge for gas and was told that's how much I would have paid at gas station just for the meter to go up a notch. It's not $14 for a quarter tank of gas
Its usually always great. This time the van was pretty dirty snow not cleaned, inside not vacuumed and trunk was full of dirt, think the renter before us hauled some dirt or concrete. Maybe an off day. We always rent from this location, never have an issue. Like the guys there. We will still be loyal customers.
I will not be renting from Uhaul ever again. Truck at the wrong location, alignment off on the truck, not informed that the Timmins location had been closed and was forced to drive an extra 3 hours (round trip) which leads to extra money spent on gas for 2 vehicles and no support from any person, not just this location but also when I called in to the 1-800 number. The two people I spoke with were so rude and absolutely unprofessional. Dean (north) never returned any of my calls, and one other lady also from the north offices told me a $50 fee should be more than enough. I will be escalating all this to numerous channels until I get restitution.
Just continue with the personal service cus now a days. Everything virtual it is nice to have it
I asked the uhaul employee who was helping me check into a uhaul truck if there was another vehicle the same with more gas because the one he was offering only had 1/4 tank. He replied â€œ I dunno â€œ and handed me the key with 1/4 tank gas.
Fix every other employee...you dont deserve and are entitled to your jobs you have to earn them. And as a customer service type job you have the rudest and just plain bad employees in general. Take example from this manager and maybe you can improve your company reputation
Return Check in was quick. There was a gentleman in the yard who unhooked the trailer and took my name. Unfortunately he did not input the return of the equipment and I got a follow up call the next day from an employee wondering when I was going to return.
