The guy there refuses to give a contract to you and he is rude
JOHN JThis has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with U-Haul. We were charged $140 in advance on our first Rental day and the second Rental day we are charged another $180 coming to $323 for two days and we only drove 10 miles. The person at this U-Haul outlet is rude. He will not give you a contract when you leave you do not get a receipt when you go back everything‘s just up in the air and now they’re holding that extra money which came to $226 for 3 to 5 days … it came right out of our checking account. And then this guy at this outlet told my husband that there was $1000 penalty fee if he was five minutes late and when we called about these two large charges, he cussed him out in another language and hung up on him I’m disgusted.
JOHN JI was locked in the entrance of the HOTEL entrance for about 5 minutes before anyone came to open the door. I managed to get in as a guest was leaving, and then I waiting at the front desk for another 10 minutes for that guy to show up! Once he did, I got the keys, told me to find the truck and I'm okay to go. I walked out, located the truck, did my once around the truck but somehow missed the fact that who ever parked the truck, parked on top of a tree stump and as I went to pull out, that stump had me stuck spinning my wheels! Not only that, but as I turned the truck on the gas light was already on and stating that there was only 10 miles of fuel left! So I got out of the truck after realizing it was stuck and not going anywhere, and started walking back to the entrance, and thankfully the maintenance guy was there and saw the whole thing. So I went to go back in and demand a new truck, only to find out that the guy that gave me that one had immediately left after I did to go get a coffee off premises with another Uhaul truck! So I was yet again stuck waiting there for another 10 to 15 minutes! He finally came back and the maintenance guy explained to him and he gave me another truck. But again! This truck also had it's gas light on! But this one had 50 miles. The fact that Uhaul leaves it's trucks so close to empty as a practice is stupid!
Christopher KThe gas was basically empty when we got it
