Have someone on site during "office hours". Fix your locks because it took me 30 min to unlock the back door to get the key for the truck (after hour pick up). I also was not able to lock the lock when returning the truck (still the same bad lock - even though manager admitted that the lock has been giving lots of people troubles. This whole thing made me lose 2 hours of daylight where i needed to be moving...

The store wasn't open at posted hours. Took an extra hour to get my truck, didn't recieve any extra time with truck or any form of compensation for my wasted time. They told me it was a 24 hour pickup location after I had waited for an hour, I never received any communications in advance telling me there was a code I needed. Just poor overall communication and execution on Uhaul's part.

I think it's ridiculous that UHAUL doesn't refund gas when returned with more than left with . It should always be a full tank that way there are no disputes. Who the heck can guess the gas required ahead of time to be able to return It at at a quarter tank ? TOTAL CASH GRAB -UHAUL...

Person renting was extremely rude during return, would not explain charges, and when I asked for an explanation he snatched the stylus and signed the "accept" screen himself. Truck was filthy and stinky.

Was ok experience...wasn't the typical location site.. wasn't so helpful kept saying to call customer service to resolve my one way problem and then wanted to charge $5 for leaving my car parked in the parking , I refused and parked on the street. Just not what I expected

Inform customers that there is a 10:00 cleaning fee Had I known about this in advance I would have swept it out. This truck had not been cleaned prior t o me picking it up as demonstrated by the dirty floor and someone else's flattened cardboard s and hydro bill was left in the upper part where you generally put boxes. There was also a large mirror or something behind the driver's seat it was banging constantly whenever I was driving. Thank you

I'd like to take a moment and thank the Lead Supervisor at the Hamilton/Burlington head office for threatening to charge me an extra $50/hour when I needed to use the truck for an extra day due to unforeseen circumstances. When I spoke with another employee from head office on Thursday at 4:45 he told me that would be just fine and that in the computer the truck wasn't scheduled to be returned until 6pm Friday. On top of that the Lead Supervisor also lied and said the truck was already booked for Saturday (it wasn't) and that she had to push back other appointments (she didn't) which I verified with the retailer where I returned the truck. As such, because this lady forced me to return the truck or face an unaffordable bill, I was not able to finish moving my furniture and items from one storage to another and am now stuck renting two units instead of just one. At least until I have the means to rent another truck (probably from somewhere else.) I've rented from U-Haul many times in the past and NEVER had such terrible customer service. I suggest the lady at head office takes it down a notch, maybe a Jacuzzi with a glass of wine or a nice sunny vacation somewhere warm as her heart seemed cold and bitter when she told me "she didn't feel any pity at all about me or my terrible predicament." Worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul. Not sure I'll ever rent from them again.

Could not be reached by phone at all Overcharged me for my truck and for the dolly. I rented the truck for 3 days and he charged me for 4. And argued with me. Prices are higher here than what they are on the uhaul website.

I found it rude and greedy of this location to make me pay $5 per day to leave my car there. I have used u haul for all my moves for over 20 years and never, ever had to pay for that.

Horrible experience delayed our move over an hour because the guy running the place had no idea what he was doing. Started by trying to over charge us 142 dollars and finished by overcharging us 32 dollars. He screwed up and was pushy and condescending after he made the mistake. He lied to us a few times and told us that what we were being charged was a deposit and when my girlfriend pointed out to him on the bill the category that says rental deposit was 0 dollars he got pissed off at us. The absolute worst experience dealing with this idiot I will never pick up a truck there again and I will encourage everybody not to deal with him. Total moron.

It was a dark, dirty store that didn't even have lights on. While the final bill was correct, I was originally charged for a "guess" number of miles to be driven. At 3pm in the afternoon, there was no one there & I just dropped off the keys in a box. No one to make sure the vehicle was checked for damage & gas level. They also missed any opportunity to "up sale" and other supplies or materials for moving. While I will use them again, if I only need a truck.

While the upper James staff were great I really would have preferred my truck to be in the city I was moving from. I booked the truck a month in advance and 2 days before the move I was called and told uhaul would not have the truck I ordered available near the location I was moving from. Since my move was going to be to another town it made things difficult with closing a home sale picking up the keys picking up the truck and then get everything loaded. It made things a little more stressed then it had to be.

The people were really helpful and nice. I did think it was a bit tacky to ask me to pay 5 dollars to park my car in the lot. Other places do not do that...
